Welcome back everyone for another killer week of progress! Nearly everything substantial added this week required me to learn a completely new code method. I'm happy to keep learning to add more unique content!
This week allowed me to have another huge update on the Fall of Haven side of things. Our second "biome" is here and is set on the human world. This is the biggest map included yet!
My time is once again heavily taken up by shopping for replacement artists (sprites, music) and the search still continues. I miss my previous main sprite animator but am hopefully I will find the right fit soon.
I won't be able to accomplish as much this weekend with Mother's Day and other events. However, I have yet another big list of plans to hit as soon as I can!

NEW "Town Forest" world!
Find the semi-randomly generated shrines - Activate them to turn the portal to Haven on! Be careful that some of the native life has been turned against you so you will have to fight your way through. Once all 6 shrines have been activated, step on the portal to continue your adventure!
New particle effects, tree animations, cloud shadows, sunlight rays, and a bit of moving grass are the beginnings of a dynamic world!
Water bodies were not fixed in time so they and a few other things are still to come.
🐍 New Snake Enemy!
Low health but will detect and stalk you from far away! Can apply a poison affect that does damage over time if you do not click it in time. More move sets planned.
👺NEW Goblin Enemy!
High damage melee opponent. More move sets and a ranged attack planned.
🎶 5 new songs added! (placeholder songs but you can jam out nonetheless)
NEW Ancient Sprits! They roam the lands of Haven. Find and touch them before the enemy does to gain extra holy shards!
Elemental weapon pickups required to create level ups from 2/2/2/2/2 to 1/2/3/4/5
Holy shards required for weapon level ups from 4/4/4/4 to 3/4/5/6
Knockdown animation now loops (finally...)
Water level 4 now spawns 5 ->6 projectiles.
Water level 5 now spawns 6->9 projectiles.
Earth weapon damage increased.
Heavenly particle effects added to Haven's world. I held off on these for a long time waiting for water animations to get fixed but I got sick of waiting.
Bees now turn to face female main character.
Holy level 4 attack now doesn't hit twice by accident.
Fire weapon hit box and timing more accurate to not damage enemies when off.
Dark damage now affects bee.
Dark damage will now cause chase of female main character.
Holy weapon does not hit things after impact in a line anymore.
Blindfold hint now actually shows up.
Things that are improved but still not good enough:
Flight and idle tweaked to feel a bit better.
Visuals of Fire Level 2 kind of work now.
Hints text size greatly increased to help players who miss out on them.
Several hints added.
Tons of little QOL things here and there with a million more to go.
