Uzi Jacobson

Thank you bob! Enjoy the weekend!

Dylan

Oh fr? On Jah?

King Capital

BABY I NEED YOU IN MY LIIIIIIFE IN MY LIIIIIIIFE 😫

Kannon Copeland

Think Bob would be surprised if he knew how big he was when he died. Was literally as big as Drake it was a crazy time

M

I like x’s music but yeah possibly one of the worst people out there if you’re willing to listen to him you can’t really say Kanye is off limits hahaha

L

One of my favorite from the new generation.

PlayahKenzo

This just made my whole year bob you have no idea

TylerTheEarthling

Bob, check out X’s No Jumper interview when you have time. He was such a bright kid for having such a troubled past. He’s done some crazy, inhumane shit, but he seemed like he was trying his best to better himself. RIP X

trinquitude

fun fact: Kendrick Lamar who NEVER post on social media shared this album if i remember in his instagram story and invited everyone to listen to this album.

Aiden Woodworth

there are also tweets up of him posting it and saying he listened to it 5 times the day it came out

Aiden Woodworth

Loved the reaction! Crazy to think he was 19 when this came out. At one point he was the biggest streaming artist, would've loved to see what else he could've made after his album "?"

Gopher_Ross

To think he was only 19 when this released

Kiwi Bacon

i have a lot of personal connection to this album, and I haven't listened to it in probably over a year. Looking back it was crazy to see how many of the lyrics were something i fully believed and related to. Now that im not in such a dark place i can see how easy it is to fall down the rabbit hole or be pulled down by a stone, so to speak. for me, everything bob said in this reaction was spot on, and resonated with me heavy. Incredible break down of an incredible album.

Jonah Donald

Bob you would love his older soundcloud songs (which a good amount have been released now on streaming services in his recent posthumous albums)

Jacob Gutierrez

cant wait to see your reaction to "one minute" off his album "skins" if you do that one

Aaron Tran

please react to the revenge ep then the ? album it’ll prepare your ears for the next chapter of XXX

JxB -93

What a masterpiece ♥️ You should do his Album “?” Next it’s more awesome and full of great songs 🔥♥️

Kannon Copeland

Need to have you react to “?” next. It was his album after this and the last one while he was alive and I believe it’s the most streamed album on Spotify ever

Aaron Tran

please let me speak to you on a discord I truly have the inside knowledge of any xxxtentacion related things been a fan since 2015 of his music he was so young while making on this legendary music he made the time he had here on this earth count every second truly did til his passing

Captain

Thanks for the double vid drop Bob, hoping you'll give the new Gambino a try soon. i think what Bob was saying in the Fuck Love post listen about the gaslighting with emotions is exactly why i couldn't get into this album. Everything about the songwriting in this project just turns me off from it, I've been through heartbreak and listening to songs like these is probably the worst way to cope. Just my opinion though

Zacabea

not the reaction I expected to see today, super excited!

NeptunesTunes

He also did that for pusha t album in 2018, it’s a funny coincidence that the rare 2 artists he shouted out, hated drake. 😭😭

dumpstereater

I enjoyed this reaction, since you're listening to Kanye again hopefully we can get a Donda reaction sometime but it's okay if you're not feeling it

Zak Smith

Knew you would nail the tone with this one Bob. This was the album that brought my attention fully to the new era of hip hop. I was very much a rock fan and the day X died I saw his face everywhere, from the news to friends posting about him. I didn't recognise the name or face and thought "why's there such a big deal around this mumble rapper?" I went to Spotify to see if there were any songs or features I recognised and saw "PAIN = best friend" from the "?" album featuring a certain rock drummer (won't say for spoilers) who I did know and wow. It blew me away. Was not what I was expecting and I immediately listened to "17" and then "?" all the way through. Was in tears at many moments and my whole view on the new "mumble rappers" was flipped on its head. I then went on to listen to Trippie due to "Fuck Love" and loved his music too and still do. So yeah, this album has played a huge role in my musical world view and it was so great to see you react to it. Definitely give "?" a listen and also Trippie. Either Life's a Trip or any from his A Love Letter to You series (maybe bar 5...). love love love as always from the UK x

M

Man this brought back some memories. This came out when I was 16 turning 17 and was in a dark place. I truly struggle to go back and listen to this album, not only because of the memories it brings back but due to the stuff that continues to come out about X. But damn this was a beautiful watch. Thanks for making me relive this era.

Thomas kelbel

He shouted out Anderson Paak’s Malibu too. I remember that because that was how I discovered him.

Joonas Puuppo

I've never been able to give his music a real chance due to some videos I saw online...

Ollie Thomas

i think it was more showing respect, dot always had heavy influence from push/clipse, couldve been his hatred for drizzy tho lmao

Carti Yeat

react to more xxxtentacion IMMEDIATLEY

Carti Yeat

react to "?" by xxx next

Carti Yeat

X saved so many lives

Ollie Thomas

damn this takes me back to high school, we all loved this kid and his music, interviews, performances. its hard to imagine how big he became but he was one of the biggest stars in the world when he passed, I recently went back and listened to 17 and ? again and ? is so much more enjoyable, although still quite lyrically samey, he really branched out with collaboration and explored different genres and sounds. if he had the chance to fulfill his potential he would've had similar careers to tyler and ye, Long live X

sebastian

love this album and loved your reaction bob 🖤

Joey

Kendrick retweeted this album with the caption “Listen to this if you feel anything. Pure raw thoughts. 5th listen.” So you were right on the dot with the raw thoughts you mentioned throughout the reaction bob

Noxerius

loved the reaction and I was very suprised when i saw this. didn't think you would react to this. Should reccomend to more of him and also juice, polo g and lil tjay.

Essinho

Great one , arrived at the cloudrap era, lil peep or yung lean or juice wrld are all legends

brendon hall

Wow. Amazing reaction, really glad you could appreciate this for the masterpiece it is. For context, when this came out, it was super polarizing and it still is. Most critics hated it. This is truly an album that epitomizes the term “either you love it or you hate it”. There’s no in between. If you feel and understand the emotions coming from these tracks, then it’s a classic. But many people think this is a terrible album. For me, this came out 2 months after my mom’s suicide. I myself was very suicidal already due to being extremely sick from Crohn’s disease, having multiple surgeries and being trapped in an opiate addiction. I’m not exaggerating when I say I had this album on repeat for a couple years. It just hit me, even though most of my friends hated it. They just didn’t get it. Although their opinions didn’t matter, I did feel validated when Kendrick tweeted about this album and praised it for how raw and emotional it was. He gave X his flowers before he passed, and that’s important to note. I love how consistent and stripped back it is, but I’m excited for you to listen to his album “?” soon hopefully. This album shows his raw, emotional side. “?” really showcases his versatility. He could rap, sing, do metal-ish type music, as well as leaning toward more catchy, pop stuff. I truly believe he had the potential to be one of the greatest and most versatile artists of all time. It’s the reason he means so much to so many people and he’s still one of the most steamed artists currently on platforms. Thank you for finally getting to this and recognizing the greatness of this project that us fans hold near and dear. I was nervous for you to listen to it because of how polarizing it can be. But based on the type of music you like and the way you listen to music, I figured it would hit you pretty hard. Glad I was right. Looking forward to hearing your additional thoughts. This album hits different when you just listen all the way through without pausing. Concise and easy to listen to over and over again. It only gets better with more listens

Brady Gibson

Great reaction, I would still love for you to get to mamas gun someday 🙂

Also it's important to remember we don't know these artists personally. Would we give grace to someone we love knowing the situation they are in? of course we would. We also don't have to justify their actions tho. So just enjoy the music Bob, there are always people online who will point fingers at others.

AESOP ROCK WHEN? IMPOSSIBLE KID IS A MUST

tradez401

there wouldnt be a mr morale album without albums like 17, igor and 808s and heartbreaks.

Charlie Toppino
