I'm not going anywhere (Everythings okay now, but long post) (Patreon)

Don't worry I'm still kicking and production is still going to continue (Including Boruto Part 3). Continue supporting the dream! However, this is what ended up happening... 

I almost lost everything and honestly I really love that I can do this full time and I don't want to lose it all after all the work put in over the years and I don't want to lose the community that's been built up so thank you everyone for supporting this dream of mine and sticking with it over the years. It's now resolved thankfully. But

Real but long answer -

1st Reason 

Patreon made some changes to TOS recently and is enforcing them much more harshly. (The reason why makes sense and if any of you look up what caused them to change, it's pretty disgusting what some people have been doing, won't say anymore) 

2nd Reason (How it applies to this)

Basically After what occured they're making this gray area much more black/white but still gray

I didn't think much of it when I first started in the beginning. I started Patreon because I saw the type of content that people were posting on it and thought it's a relatively creative-free platform.  And I saw the types of creations and did the whole lazy/ignorant "well if this artist is doing it and slapping a "All Characters Are of 18+ Legal Age"  sticker on it and everyone is just okay with it then it must be fine. True Answer - Yes, but no.

You all could probably guess but a lot of the content was flagged for TOS. This is sort of a weird subject since the whole Naruto/Boruto thing is weird.  I never once thought or intend(ed) on creating/viewing any harmful works. 

The characters have to look OBJECTIVELY appropriate to perform the action. 

Which seems obvious but how someone perceives a look is where it gets subjective.

 The reason no one really bats an eye at the whole Tsunade x Naruto (Present Hokage Naruto) is because he looks like a man, is a man. Tsunade x Naruto (From Genin Days) is where it could get more muddy. 

(Extreme example btw) (Feel free to skip this)

Here's why its a losing battle. 

Tsunade x Hokage Naruto is completely fine, no one will ever bat an eye.

Let's say Hokage Naruto transformed to his OG Genin self and then did it with Tsunade for some roleplay.

- Even though Naruto is canonically 32 years old. The depiction of him is not.  It could get flagged. (Lose)

 -The part where he transformed will not be a defense or help at all, it'll get cut out and just flat out can be called potentially harmful. (Lose)

- Slapping an 18+ sticker doesn't help (Lose)

- Even having dialogue where Tsunade says "Give me that 30 year old love" doesn't help. (not that I would ever have Tsunade say that lol) (Lose)

Here's why it's a really annoying losing battle. 

Let's say it was flipped. Tsunade x Naruto (Genin). Naruto transforms into an older version (His Hokage Days) Even though the depiction of it is objectively 2 adults. 

-The canonical age will  then be considered "Well it's technically still Genin Naruto" (Lose)

-The transformation will then be considered. Look it was Genin Naruto not Hokage Naruto. (Lose)

-If any dialogue suggests it's Genin Naruto (Lose)

Basically. Any iota suggesting it the wrong way (Lose). I mean you all have seen the memes about this topic and the comment sections. Almost everything has to be objectively adult. 

So what now? Are you going to stop Boruto content?

No, thanks to one person in the support team.

She was really helpful. She's even a fan of anime and a fan of Naruto, probably hates Boruto but a fan of Naruto.

"Make him look older, reference the changes that occurred overtime with Naruto over the years when he became hokage or even in Naruto Movie: The Last.  Make him taller change his clothing, broaden the shoulders, give him muscle definition, define the facial features. Because even if you say he's over 18 at the beginning of your animations if nothing about him looks different from the anime, height, and face. and consider context/setting. Or just don't use him in NSFW scenes. He can still however be apart of the story."

What does this mean?

Well I got Yinyama to help. Yinyama's a modeler and is helping with creating this Adult Boruto model. 

That's the model I'll be using going forward with Part 3. It will definitely affect the consistency of the story line but I'd rather change it then lose it and I hope everyone understands the necessity of this. Will upload it here when it's done.
