By the Solemn Authority of the Illustrious Council of the Eldritch Order of Vampire Hunters,

WHEREAS, a creature of the night, henceforth known as the Lady of Shadows, has presented herself before this venerable assembly and professed an unyielding and undying affection for one amongst our hallowed ranks;

AND WHEREAS, the Lady of Shadows has petitioned for leave to forsake her unhallowed existence and enter into the warm embrace of her mortal beloved;

AND WHEREAS, the ancient and sacred laws of our Order decree a mistrust and abhorrence for all those borne of the nocturnal curse;

AND WHEREAS, the Eldritch Order of Vampire Hunters must weigh the gravity and earnestness of the petitioner’s plea with the solemn duty and purpose that has bound us through the generations;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it decreed by this ancient and venerable Council, in recognition of the petitioner’s plea, that the following rites and tribulations shall be exacted upon the Lady of Shadows should she prove true in her devotion:

I. The Lady of Shadows shall, with utmost diligence and allegiance to her mortal love, betray and abandon her sire to the righteous blades of the Vampire Hunters, ensuring his final demise under the pale light of the moon.

II. The Lady of Shadows shall further sever all blood-ties and kinships, orchestrating the downfall of her unhallowed kin, and bear witness to the eradication of her lineage.

III. The Lady of Shadows, having proven her fealty, shall submit herself to the Ritual of Defanging, bearing the agony and torment as her fangs are removed under the sacred incantations of the Elders, thus binding her forever as a tethered creature, void of the power of the dark.

IV. Upon the satisfactory completion of the above-stated tribulations, the Lady of Shadows shall be permitted to exist in servitude and companionship to her mortal love, under constant vigil and scrutiny.

Let this decree stand as a testament to the solemn purpose of the Eldritch Order of Vampire Hunters, our unwavering dedication to the eradication of vampiric scourge, and the weight of the petitioner’s plea upon our ancient and bound hearts.
