"Friendship and trust"? That screams KH 1 Sora vibes. Mostly because at one point he didn't have his weapon and his friends had to follow the man with his weapon. So what does Sora use to confront the guy? His heart and the famous "FRIENDS ARE MY POWER!" Speech which magically gives him his weapon back. But hey maybe that anime friendship bullshit won't work here.
