johanmoon

please stop spamming on posts not related to the boyfriend, i've already said i'm going to react to it

jay

chicken noodle soup is a song from the 2000s hobi paid homage by adding his own verses

Bea

I'm glad u got a taste of Hobi, I think his vibe is more 90s hip hop and Jack in The Box was his showing a different side of him. Arson is my jam, it's a motivational song to me. It's an, I've accomplished a lot but can I, and should I F**k up more shit? 🤪

nva

yep! should've given the credit, but @johan its a sample/remake of a classic song from NY (Harlem) rappers DJ Webstar and Young B feat. vocals by Bianca Bonnie!

YAYYYYYY so glad you enjoyed!!! i really wish he had more performances from his Hope World (debut solo) era - i think that whole album would be sooo your taste (adding to my 'bts albums to offer johan' mental folder LMAO). faith and i were talking about how more/arson might be more intense for you, but i'm glad you enjoyed them too!!! yes, should've expected you to empathize with the lyrical content at the very least, but so glad you liked the 90s/00s street sound because that's where he pulls a lot of his inspiration from -- bts's three rappers have different inspirations ('hip hop phile' from an early bts album is literally all about their rap inspo since they were young) so it's nice when ppl can start to pick out their styles as they hear more! also we LOVE becky g in this house, she's one of the nicest collaborators they've worked with and she and him connect often (they met up again at lollapalooza and it was ADORABLE!). lastly -- YES hobi is hot, bestie, welcome to the club ☀️

“wait i just realized there’s something kinda cunt about the beat” THE LAUGH I LET OUT—that’s everything he does💅🏻

faith (bulletproofenhypen)

your reaction to him dancing in chicken noodle soup is so real —he is the main dancer of BTS and also the dance leader !

faith (bulletproofenhypen)

okay since he is my bias i do have a lot to say LOL but just to give you some backstory that’ll help you understand him even more… basically when choosing their stage names j-Hope’s initials are JH (jung hoseok) and he references Pandora’s box (which he also has a song about) where basically the only emotion left in the box is HOPE, so he names himself j-hope and plans on being that “hope” for his fans (hence his slogan “i’m your hope, you’re my hope, i’m j-hope” as he characterizes himself as “hope” he makes it his duty to be the “cheerful” member of BTS, which is why he’s always seen as the jokester kinda role. however it’s a classic situation of “the person who smiles the most is suffering the most,” where he starts to feel like he’s just playing a character and isn’t really a person anymore, almost like j-hope is separate from hoseok. jack in the box was his way of announcing it to everyone that he wasn’t okay and that he didn’t want to be the j-hope he was before (hence the big style chance in music, although his messages kinda remain the same). also jack in the box references Pandora’s box where it’s like the hope is leaving that box it’s been kept in. now getting into the lollapalooza/jitb era which is honestly a pretty dark period in his life even though it was pretty recent. he was the first member to come out with his solo work after they announced their hiatus, so he had that pressure as well as the pressure of headlining lollapalooza all on his own. if you see more of him during that time you’ll notice that he’s SO skinny because he was just straight up not eating and he also wasn’t sleeping at all. he is the biggest perfectionist and essentially wasn’t going to rest until he finished all of his solo activities. he has a whole documentary around the album & the festival that explains all of this in more detail but honestly it’s a bit of a hard watch because he’s essentially killing himself over work (which is ironic with the themes of MORE and ARSON). while it’s been hard that he’s been in the military, i’ve honestly been happy to see him improve his mental health and physical well-being. he looks and seems much happier and healthier which is all i can ask for. sorry that this was soooo long i just wanted to give you some context!!

Wow! You really presented Hobi so well! Honestly, I agree with everything you said. Jhope may be the hope of the group and the Armys, the one who smiles and plays the most, but he is also one of the people who has always suffered the most, since the beginning. He is simply one of the strongest people I know and every day I am proud to be his fan! Many people in his position would have given up on everything. He had a very bad time in the Jitb era, but he now looks really well and healthier and although he and all the boys are sorely missed being in the military service now, they seem healthier physically and mentally and that's all we can ask for.

So good!!!!!

tanasia

hobi is the Dance Leader 😭

nva

what a beautiful sentiment 🥹👏 well said!!! i always find armys who bias hobi to be so wonderful and full of love and compassion, i don't think i knew he was yours but it makes sooooo much sense 🫂 we love our all-rounder !!!! (when we someday get to color-coded bts songs we GOTTA find videos that show when he sings/ad-libs, he's got some of the best hidden vocals in the group!!!)

I think you need to watch a guide video, since most of ur infos are mixed together. Either the Taylor one or the purple show(newest). Ps: I have been watching ur bts content and this is my conclusion of it, has nothing to do with hobi’s godlike performance
