Just love the fact this show is including LGBTQ themes. Female empowerment and the struggles women have all felt.

Man, this was the episode where I really thought, oh no... I really like this! To be honest, I got really frustrated with the guy in this episode. Chuu obviously has an aversion to getting too close to men, but besides that, he did a number of not so good things. Taking a picture of her while sleeping, driving her someplace without her explicit consent while she was asleep... regardless of who it is, women are taught from very young to be wary of situations like this. When you're in a car and someone else is driving, you have to trust that they will keep you safe. Doing that while she was asleep took away what little control left she had.

I understand why you would get frustrated with him in this episode, I felt a little torn and thought that I should cut him some slack since I had been hard on him before. Because I thought he had good intentions (however, intention does not change impact!) but now that you mention the photo - I didn't feel okay with that either, initially. I related it to my own life (because I've taken pictures of my boyfriend when he sleeps, too, because he and Cookie looked cute together) but now that I think about it more I can see how that is a totally different situation. Because we fell asleep together, in my bed in my home, with consent. And I show him the picture in the morning and would delete it if he wanted me to. But here, Chuu falls asleep by accident while waiting for him in the car. I'm not sure if that's even her boyfriend at this point, but I think not? They're just dating. And it wakes her up and she's in a different location! Ugh, scary thought. So now that I think about that I completely agree with you. He should have woken her up before deciding to drive to the beach, even if she had mentioned it before. Because she literally had no control, as you say. I'm glad he turned around and drove back after dropping her off, however. But I'm also glad he let her out when she said she wanted to get out. But leaving her there alone would have been even worse, imagining what could have happened. I'm eager to see the next episode and thank you for your comment! I love to discuss these things and I think it's important to. 💕

When i first see this episode I was totally unprepared for the sudden turn to such serious tones and acting. Chuu really shows that she can act. I liked this show before as it had a thoughtful approach to dating, considering other people and how they fell. This episode they touched on much deeper issues of consent, at all levels if relationship and even hinting at sexual consent. The photo was particularly current as to the recent Seungri scandal of none consentual photos video etc and the spy cam movement by women in Korea. It's very hot issue in Korea esp when this episode aired. I'm glad that this show is trying to educate esp to the younger generation and hopefully bring awareness. I only watched until the next episode as I wanted to wait for your reaction. But I did think the sculpture as of that guy too, but I dont know how that story developed, maybe a hint at love...

She really can act, she made me cry!! It's so captivating seeing her take it so seriously and such a big difference from how she usually acts. I never made the connection to Seungri or the horrible spy cam happening to women, but it makes sense when you mention it. I'm praying for a romantic, gay storyline between the guy sculpting a face, but I'm too scared to hope lol. It seems like there's something traumatic going on with him as well... We'll see!
