WE HAVE REACHED SOME CLARITY AND I'M SO GRATEFUL. Honestly these episodes were completely fucking amazing, this show feels so special. SO SPECIAL.

The little escape retreat after Ji Hyun told Jae Won that he's there for him if he needs to talk (or something like that I don't remember exactly as I'm typing this) ending up with them going on this little retreat to the beach and staying at least 2 nights there - I LOVE IT! Still weird how he remembered that but didn't remember them kissing that time on the beach? Or am I reading too much in to that? Maybe.

I'm scared because of how the 6th episode ended.. I know I saw him in the thumbnail for ep 7 but idk.. I'M SCARED! PLEASE LET ME KNOW ALL YOUR THOUGHTS IN THE COMMENTS I LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU TELL ME EVERYTHING BUT NO SPOILERS PLS

Im watching the show for the second time with you and it still hurts so much.. Jae Won tried to escape from his trauma and heal but was confronted with it again with another person he loves and cherishes. Maybe thats the harsh reality of how hard it is to overcome trauma?

These last 4 episodes really do a great job of making the most of the cinematography. That love scene was extraordinary in its intimacy. Yes, there are more erotic BL scenes, more tender (maybe), more explicit, but this one was really special for what it is: subtle intimacy. That shadowed kiss is everything, because it's visually stunning but emotionally captivating to see. The "disjointed" filmmaking style really just ramps up every feeling. Like, the scary water scene there's a moment where you can see the sunset in the distance, and how orange and hazy it is, and how much drama and chaos that adds to the scene in the couple seconds it's on screen. We often talk about lighting in K-music videos, and during their campfire scenes, it's amazing to watch how the light plays on their skin as they turn their heads, and how much depth and [again!] tension is added to the scene, even though the scene itself IS sharing, IS finding a way to be closer to one another. The changes in color throughout, the blues and the oranges playing off each other and adding cooler and warmer feelings to the video is simply masterful. Anyway, enough about that. Can't wait for you to get to the next episodes. I had actually checked back to see when this episode happens to know whether it would leave you on this cliffhanger or not. I waited until the entire series was complete on viki before I watched it, because waiting a week between would have hurt me in unhappy ways. ;) I'm so glad you're enjoying it!

From the previous episodes I think Jae won likes the ocean since it gives him a sense of peace and calmness and for that reason I don't think his younger brother had the accident on the Beach..... btw I love your YouTube reaction of kpop, and as a gay man that also loves kdrama I had to subscribe to your patron, these days has been great thanks to all your bl reaction, I love you, hugs from Nicaragua to you 💙
