This end came way too soon! While I wish the episodes were longer I also appreciate the show for what it is. It's very charming, feels very special, relatable and very real in a way. I really like all the characters, even the "flawed" ones like Siwon's mom for example. I like how this show introduces everyone for who they are in a very real way! It really adds to the relatability. I hope there will be another season but maybe that's silly of me idk this show just really resonated with me and I don't want it to be over. BUT I LOVED IT!

Also I just realized that the beach they walked on during the last scene of the last episode was the same beach where they had their first kiss, right?! I realized that as I was making the thumbnail, that's such a beautiful detail 😭

I cry every time I rewatch this show, it just makes me feel so nostalgic idk. One of my favourite scenes was when Siwon said he didn't get why Dawoon liked him and Dawoon started to list a lot of things he liked about him but none of them were related to his appearance/looks, i think this was very important to hear for Siwon. Also the scene where Siwon got home after his mother watched the movie was somehow so relatable with his mother not understanding how he felt and the other way round😭. And i think the guy at the end with the guitar has a relationship later with Siwon's friend with the glasses (it's in the webtoon). I was really hoping for them to have a season two where they maybe could also show their relationship but it seems that it won't be happening as the production company sold the rights to the story and now another company is planning to remake Blueming, which i totally don't get as this show is already masterpiece.

I am so surprised by how well paced this show felt to me. Considering how short the episodes are it wouldnt have been surprising if the relationship would have felt rushed. I think they managed to avoid that pretty well. Really glad to have watched this with you. This show has left me feeling very melancholic and I will definitely revisit it.

Ahh I'm so happy that To My Star won the poll, I actually missed the poll but recommended the show to you under the last blueming reaction because it has the same director and I think you'd like its vibe! so that's a really lucky coincidence. Also tip to watch it's movie version instead of the separate episodes, the movie includes the exact same scenes but flows better. And if you decide you immediately need more of it, there's its second season (also has a movie version) that is 4,5 hours long yay. Though I'd also be excited for kissable lips, I actually haven't watched it yet because I was scared the vampire stuff might make me cringe, but I think if I watch it with you I'll have great fun

All your reactions to this were so relatable GAHH I love this show so much. It's truly beautiful and touching, it's unique, it's honest, raw and relatable and makes me cry. I remember the first time I watched it, I watched it three more times within the same week. It tugs at your heart strings. The kiss scenes are some of my favorites out of all dramas ever, from the beautiful scenery, to the amazing acting and how they've been shot, cut and edited. It's amazing that a short series can make you feel so much, and it's difficult to put into words what it is exactly but the director Hwang Da Seul has such a talent and artistry for how she tells her stories and portrays the emotions. Also seriously, their acting is so freaking goood!! The guy playing Siwon especially. What amazes me especially in this show was how realistic and well they presented the mother, and the fight with the mother. It wasn't sugarcoated nor was she villainized. You can see the harm she did but as you said she did the best she could with what she knew, and her inability to apologise is so familiar and I can recognise a lot of parents in real life in her. Not everything is black and white, and it makes sense for Siwon to forgive/still seek out her warmth too even though he's been hurt, because she's still his mom and I think he recognises the human in her, that isn't just a mom but an imperfect person who hurts as well. (I feel like thats such a huge part of growing up, when you realise your parents aren't perfect and you can't expect them to be because they're still just people, but that also means letting go of some of the blind and hopeful trust children have in adults, which is difficult to process) Also the conflict between the couple. I know for many what Dawoon did would have been a dealbreaker but I find it refreshing to have a main character that is flawed/does something bad but they manage to find their way back to each other and work through it. Also as bad as it was you can still understand why Dawoon acted the way he did and might have not considered that his good intentions aren't an excuse. All the feelings shown, the insecurities, everything is so raw and just feels like life. And the couple is seriously so sweet together, those head pats...
