I'm caught up, but I am watching G8 for the first time with you guys! So these episodes fill the One Piece hole a little since the anime is paused until april.

Honestly I somewhat agree about zoro and robin. I wouldn't ship any of the strawhats but if I had to, zoro and robin would definitely be top pick. Also, even at this point in the story, I have robin above, ussop, nami, sanji, and chopper, despite being in the crew for a shorter period than the rest.

The scene where Robin "sold" Usopp it's one of the funniest to me. Top 10 anime betrayals. 🤣 Honestly I'm glad there will be no romance between the strawhats, I like the concept of found family more. If I were to ship a couple it would be another one but I can't talk about it yet. Of Zoro and Robin I like the mutual respect as nakama and their serious and mature personality ensure that they don't often clash witch each other, that's it for me.

The small arc after this one is cannon but feels like filler and is probably top 2 most hated arcs by the community. Thankfully oda makes up for it right after

I haven’t watched the reactions yet but I see people talking about ships. I will probably get hate for this but zoro and robin ship have always gave me the ick bc of the age gap. Robin is 28 and zoro is 19. Again OP fans get really upset when you point something like that out and idk why 😭 there’s a ship even worse down the line 🐍 🐍. Iykyk. I just love the found family aspect of the straw hats so I’m glad there’s no romance between them.

I dont get the issue, my best friends, married couple, have an age gap of 11 years, both of them are obviously great ppl I love very much, why would age be a problem in a mature relationship when both are written very experienced and mature especially Zoro and Robin who act even more mature than every other straw hat. For some opp this is even the appeal but I didnt even "notice" their age until I read the first person question it 10 years in the fandom. There was even a time this ship was the biggest in one piece until the show got more famous and some ppl start to have really weird takes on stuff. I get why ppl see Nami/Sanji problematic but even that ship is sailing pretty well, while zoro and Robin are in fact just 2 pretty decent ppl and and the most unproblematic you will find on the ship if you comparenthem to all the other constellations

Even though the next arc is filler-ish, knowing how much you guys LOVE our precious straw hat crew and their relationships and if you want to only see MUCH more of it, please do watch the next arc even though it drags on a bit, it’s just episodes 207-219, and if you can get through them in 2 weeks , even better ✌🏼✌🏼

I guess I find it weird bc zoro is so young. I wouldn’t find it as weird if it was a 25 year old and a 35 year old. It just rubs me the wrong way. I find no appeal in the ship bc both him and Robin are mature. I just see them having respect for one another. Actually a lot of the time I don’t even see zoro being that mature he acts like a teenager sometimes 🤣 it’s just my opinion. I’ve talked to other op fans before and they feel the same about it. It’s just kind of strange.

I did like robin immediately when she joined the crew, she gives off a sense of maturity but also warmth like the rest of SHs. (the filler arc w her and chopper ❤️❤️). Ngl though….Seeing usopp dead last in both of your ranking hurts. He’s a fool but reigns at the top 3-5 spot of the SHs for me.

I don’t like the next filler arc but! TOEI is remaking the episodes for an arc a few arc after for better pacing alignment as the manga. So y’all are in no rush!

If you're talking about FMI they better stick to the original because the *remaster* (not a remake as you said) just straight up cuts stuff from the actual manga. It really isn't great... Same thing for people recommending One Pace...

I can't help but laugh at any proposed Zoro ships, it's always so doomed just because of how Zoro is. Bro might actually be less interested than even Luffy, and I swear it's not because he's always locked in on his goals. He's simply incapable of feeling romantic attraction toward anyone, women especially.

How would you know about him being incapable, him being silly, confused or focused is very much canon but incapability is really not. Romantic feelings aside he is a actually pretty good in reading a room and has a huge dedication to each straw hat and also to the mood in the crew and stuff. Since oda just refuses to describe romantic situations and makes fun of it at best, looking at boa, i would say there is a lot open for interpretation als also a lot happening off screen. Not meaning romantic ships, but anything is possible.

Sorry didn't mean to sound like a hater. I'm not saying no one should ever enjoy popular Zoro pairings. Shipping is all in good fun of course, especially in regards to One Piece. The man's obviously attractive and a great character and in some ways he can definitely match Robin's vibes. For me it's just that with what I know and understand about Zoro, I personally can't imagine him keeping any kind of functional romantic relationship whatsoever. Not saying he's undesirable, just that he lacks certain qualities that are kinda expected for any healthy, long-lasting, and passionate relationship imo. So I view his pairings a lot like I view all of Luffy's, just pure fantasy and entirely out of character. But hey, that's what good old headcanon and fanfiction is for, not just for Zoro ships but pretty much all OP ships.

I wish I could speak directly to your moderators 😭 The next filler arc (right after this one) is probably the most hated, but at the same time you have to watch it! One of the best One Piece memes come from episodes 218/219 🤣 You have to watch at least some foxy to get to that gold 🤣🤣🤣

I feel like maybe you shouldn't let fillers influence your rankings, since Oda didn't create them. Fillers often exaggerate their worst traits, like Nami throwing Zoro's swords or Luffy being even more unconcerned and dumb than usual. Anyway, thank you for your reactions as always!

The arc here after is cannon but got some filler episodes that extended the arc a bit. You like the one piece humor and therefore I think you will love the jokes that will be in that arc. Well I'm definitely in the minority with this arc because I find that little arc hilarious and I even enjoy the filler episodes of that upcoming arc. I just hope you will watch the filler episodes as well and upload it. I would love to see them. Too many reactors I saw skipped that arc or hated it, but you very much like the One Piece humor that's why you may love that upcoming arc because of the humor.
