I think it's unfair to call this the weakest arc. A little slow but it's short. Compared the the multitude of odd story decisions in later seasons with contradicting plot points and poor pacing

Shoto’s smile is so rare and precious. On another note, “ao” words in Japanese are pronounced like “ow,” so just say his name like you’re in pain lol.

SURPRISE!! Who doesn't love Aoyama ?? XD The way to pronounce his name is simple. You got the "Yama" part right. For the "Ao" part, just try saying "How" or "Cow" but without the first letter. Say "HOW Yama" but remove the H sound :) Endeavor is one of my favorite characters in the show. I loved it when he said he'll become a hero that Shoto can be proud of :(

I get that. Personally I'd say the Joint Training arc was worse though. It was basically another recap but instead of a single episode was actually half the season . Sure an important thing happens but it could have happened anywhere in the season and had the same effect

Endeavour is one of my favorite characters precisely because he is flawed. He's obsessed with strength and wants to be number one, but at the end of the day, he really does want to save people and does a damn good job of it. It's nice if your heroes are paragons of virtue, but regardless of whether you consider him virtuous or not, Endeavour has helped a ton of people. He's one of the most realistic characters and I love it.

Angelo knows his characters and whether people like to admit it or not Endeavor is in that genre with Vegeta, there's just something about a character trying their best to become number 1 but still falling short of the main guy. its their journey that makes them the best characters in all of anime and I cant wait for more MHA content to come out, becoz Ill die on this hill Season 4 is the best season of this series.

agreed on mirio and bakugou being mvps! i love the provisional exam eps and meeting the real camie XD also love seeing shouto and bakugou’s friendship blossom, in its own way. i love the friendships in class 1A and that def includes aoyama and deku, as weird as it is in the beginning ^_^

its always so fun to watch you guys react to this! love how you guys notice and appreciate the side characters like you guys immediately noticing kiri's friendship with bakugo, you guys loving iida, inasa and ofc aoyama especially <3 i rarely see reactors like him when hes just a fun silly lil guy :) mha is such a character driven story so seeing you guys enjoy all of the characters is so fun and i def believe it brings up the enjoyment factor of the show a lot and makes you appreciate the 'academia' stuff of the show as well.. cant wait for the rest of the season yall def gonna love itttt~

Emotional Carlie is the best! Don't worry, MHA makes me tear up almost every episode. It's so nice to see how deeply you both care about these characters. And Ange's cover for this half of the season is probably one of my favourites! It's so good!! I love how invested you are in the Todoroki family storyline and how much you understand the characters. While I don't like Endeavor as a person, he is such an intricate and layered character and his development so far has been phenomenal. One of the best written characters in the show. BTW, MVP for episode 16 goes to Carlie for sticking up for the teachers!

Ep 15 MVP definitely should have gone to Gran Torino, he captured Kurogiri, one of the most troublesome villains in the league, even though another strong villain showed up, and he managed to save the 2 cops that were also there.

Don’t worry Carlie I’m like that teacher too 😔 also I personally think that Endeavour and Bakugo have the same type of problem as a hero, only in Bakugo’s case his insecurity is reflected back at him from Deku in a different way. Bakugo’s rivalry with Deku stems from their admiration and jealousy of each other; Bakugo felt it since childhood that he lacks the heart of a hero that Deku has and has been trying to escape from this realisation his whole life. Being in UA surrounded with people that are powerful in their own way and moreover with Deku forced him to face that reality. Deku also has a similar emotion towards Bakugo for how powerful his quirk is, it’s a mix of admiration and jealousy especially since after he obtained One for All. In Endeavour’s case his rivalry with All Might is very much one sided. All Might didn’t mind who he’s competing with because his only goal is to become the symbol of peace, and for people to feel safe. I think he would think that it’d matter if that symbol isn’t him. Whereas for Endeavour his goal is surpassing All Might, but he didn’t realize that what he lacks as a hero is a genuine heart, he focuses too much on “becoming powerful” and has lost his way (some would argue even his humanity due to how he treats his family). His motivations are very much corrupted along the way. (Until now…maybe)
