A client bought this helmet for a themed shoot and gave it to me afterwards a few years back. Naturally, I wanted to do some sort of Frank Miller "300" concept using a male model, however Steph was competing in fitness shows and training pretty hard, so I figured it would be cool twist in the theme to use her.

I was going to order some costume type items like a sword and some armor; but I did not want to cheapen the shoot with fake looking props, nor did I want to spend alot of money on something that would look legit. Steph mentioned to me, "weren't spartans naked all the time anyway?"  Simple enough.

I waited over a year before posting censored versions of some of these photos, fearing it was too much nudity for IG. When I finally did I got overwhelming positive feedback.

The photos above were two different shoots over a couple months apart.

In the end, I am happy I used Steph for this concept.  It was a balance of matching ferocity with elegance while using no props other than the helmet and cloak. Her posing helps deliver the narrative of war and peace.

I plan to do part 3 this spring in an outdoor setting.

I think this is one of the first sets of yours that I ever saw. I loved the theme of it and thought it did an amazing job of displaying just how shredded she was.

Its Really Me Ok

this caught my eye on IG also... very cool... the theme definitely fits her physique

This would be a really good shoot to talk about lighting. What did that look like?
