Okay first off, there was an extra layer of surprise due to the fact that d'some doesn't know about Chungha's previous tracks and styles - and even for Han-C, it seems like he didn't see this particular genre happening. Secondly, Hongjoong nailed it. His short segment (that really stands out as different from the overall tone of the song) refreshened up the track in all the right ways and took it to another level. Lastly, the Chungha-Hongjoong combination with the use of different genres, the sources, the clever mixing, and beautifully catchy hook just made the song our top contender.
