This extra clip from the In Live Intro video was very short,

but the conversation we had afterwards was probably the longest one to date.

It was authentic, emotional, and loving. We enjoyed this a lot :)

Also, just a small thing to point out in case anyone gets confused - the thumbnail (4:59 mark) where Bang Chan says it made him cry a little isn't exactly accurate; what he is really saying is closer to 'oh no I feel like I'm going to cry right now'.

Enjoy! :D Love you sausages always <3

I was waiting for this… such a good morning for meeee

Super excited. Im glad you saw this from the comments. Its so cute and makes me smile with my tears in my eyes. I'm not going to lie though when IN said that hyunjin was like his brother that actually did make me cry because hyunjun being an only child and wanting a sibling and wanting IN specifically to be like his little brother, I'm sure that would have made him feel so happy seeing that so of course it made me cry. I also love how the majority of them said what so random 😹. I'm not surprised that Lee now said that because he said the same thing in one of their Japanese interviews. It was very interesting to see how awkward seungmin was when it comes to talking about IN. Hyunjin is one of the most precious babies when it comes to how sensitive and emotional he is. And he just makes you want to protect him. Like he is very fierce. He is very strong we know but like the way this man loves and feels is just so raw and real and you just can't help but want to protect him and his heart. I definitely understand what you mean Han-C. Definitely proud to be a STAY. Oh yes I definitely heard that. Could he have been wearing a retainer? Is it mandatory to wear retainers after having braces? Because I feel like that might be what was going on. But it was definitely noticeable in that video.

The thing is......Bang Chan, Changbin and Han, as 3Racha, came before Stray Kids. They had already formed that bond. So when they speak about each other, there's something even deeper there than the deep relationships they have with the other members. The three of them have a different level of pain, love and understanding between them. ^^^ That might be what you sensed that made you feel emotional, Han-C. And re: your observation of Bang Chan and Felix...... Bang Chan was a trainee for almost 7 years before Stray Kids. He was far from home, he watched many, MANY of his friends debut and leave him behind, and he was incredibly lonely. When Felix came along, Bang Chan suddenly had this connection again to Australia and to the English language spoken with an accent like his own. I can't even imagine what a positive impact that had on his mental health. It probably felt like a lifeline, in a way.

I feel like it might be a bit of a longer detour, but in terms of extras alongside intro video, for Noeasy there was a series called Howl in Harmony where the members are in units and the process of making the unit songs is shown- much more detailed than an intro video but definitely a must at some point while checking out the noeasy album!

Lee Know has the best sense of humour! I loved all of their answers about why they sing/dance because it just felt so mature and you can tell that music is such a big part of all of them and it shows in the masterpieces that they create. Also if you liked them talking about each other, you will enjoy One and Two Kids Room a lot :)

This just made me all the more excited for y’all to experience one and two kids room content! They are such an open, honest, and reflective bunch of kiddos it’s so refreshing.

For all of JYP’s problematic qualities, he really set a mood in the company that no one is greater than anyone else. The way their groups talk about other members and staff, you can tell there is a profound sense of love, loyalty, and respect. I remember all the chaos in GOT7 leaving the company, but the group still speaks well of JYP. He was on BamBam’s show not too long ago. And at one of Jackson’s concerts, someone started a “f JYP” chant that Jackson quickly shut down. Div1 (SKZ and 2PM’s management unit in JYPE) really dote on the members and seem to really enjoy being part of the journey with SKZ. There are some faces I’ve seen in content for years, especially those in the JYPE Performance Team, who went from new hires to leadership themselves and have stayed alongside SKZ. The shift that happened in 2020 with SKZ really set the foundation for who they’ve become over the years. They really hold each other, the team, and the fans as something precious. They are family in the truest sense - quick to tease and bicker, cringing at the thought of loving one another, yet so quick to make sure the others know how much they are cherished. I’ve been in kpop spaces for a very long time, but I still come back to SKZ like returning home.

Unfortunately JYP still does not offer any mental health specialist for their idols :(

Tristana Keauna

I saw someone else mention the last episode of Kingdom week, and YES, that is a must-see for this era!

chi

I personally think they do though. We've seen them let their Idols have a break for as long as they need to through out the years without them getting worried about being removed from the group (I think mina from twice was among the first ones to have a hiatus specifically citing mental health as a reason, jeongyeon, sungjin, han, and now Lia). They may not be perfect in handling it, but I think compared to other companies in terms of these things, they're one of those who are really trying to be better.

renok

They have specifically stated that they don’t. Breaks are great, but they’re not mental health counselling.

One Kids Room, 2 Kids Room and 2 Kids SHOW are all great series to watch. You get some deep insights into each member, and of course at the end of the Two Kids Show episodes, you get to hear them sing some amazing duets.

J.A. Moore

@renok - I would like to read more about that. Do you have a link?

renok

I’ve forgotten what the show was called (something university) and I believe it was the itzy girls talking about how they don’t have any mental health specialists at JYP

J.A. Moore

I just now saw this from Jamie Park (formerly known as Park Jimin). She said JYP does a mental health check with the idols once a month. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=so46bLA7zRk (at the 5:29 time stamp) She also says she was struggling and having a lot of self-harm thoughts, and JYP helped her a lot. (at the 5:37 time stamp. She mentioned her thoughts of self harm earlier in the video.) Starting at the 7:15 mark on that video, she talks for a while about how well she was treated at JYP (even when she left the company) and how they set a standard for her to follow when she mentors younger artists. I think there's also another video (maybe the Eric Nam show? I'm still looking for it.) where Jamie Park mentions again how JYP is one of the best companies for mental health support for their idols. If I find that video, I'll post the link here.

About D’some’s question at the end! I could be wrong but I thiiiink Seungmin got braces after this album because he had them during the Kingdom, which was 2021. He got them taken off early 2023! And speaking of Seungmin, I’m excited for you guys to see the 5 STAR and Maxident intro videos, there is such a stark contrast to the way Seungmin talks about the others 🥹 This video he was so self conscious but by the Maxident era, you can see how much he matured in such a short time and how emotionally intelligent he became <3

Ideosycrat

… Maybe not officially and maybe not permanently, but JYP had Han supported when he had his mental issues back in 2019 and there is a ‚manager‘ specially having an eye on him. And mental health issues are not and should not be handled too publicly, so be careful with opinions or judgement. The members often stated that they feel cared for, supported and protected by their staff and their company and have a genuinely visibly happy relationship with their managers.

Elina

If you liked that, you're gonna LOVE kids rooms, especially the later ones.

I totally get what you're saying Han-C! Listening to them talk about each other made me feel sad and sorry for them too, knowing the hard times they've been through. That's why I've especially happy recently because I feel like it's the first time in a loong time seeing every single one of the members happy and comfortable (in the newest skz code and interviews). And yes this type of content where they reflect on themselves is the best, it not only allows us to grow closer to them but also within the group. Which is why whoever came up with Kids Room is a genius! Also are guys going in the order of Korean comebacks? Idk if you saw my comment on the last Intro, but timeline wise the 1st Japanese mini album "All In" was released first (Ocotber 2020). The title track All In is the only track that J.Y.P ever produced for Skz, which is why it's gonna super interesting for you guys production wise. The album also includes Japanese versions of God's Menu, Backdoor, Top and Slump. There's a Jyp x Skz talk segment which is similar to an Intro. They talked about how Stray kids was formed, how All In was created (I would suggest listening to the song before watching) and some insights from Jyp's perspective. This is still very much in God's Menu/Backdoor era, so I would definitly suggest checking this out befoe moving on to Noeasy which came out like a year later. If you liked this, you might also like kids rooms! I love all SKZ content but tbh 1 kid's room, 2 kids room and 2 kids show hold really special place in my heart, because I feel like through these you can really get the "behind" and see how much these guys truly appreciate and adore each other, it made me understand them so much more as a baby stay! Thank you so much for your reaction as always ^_^

Handsome Sausages

Initially, we were thinking of going through Korean comebacks first, but we will talk about it! Thank you for the link! (Yeyyy strayksubs)

Sapientia

You're right! He got the braces either end of 2020 or beginning of 2021 And omg yes, I thought of how well and open he speaks these days during intros (or other more serious content) versus now. I don't like that they debut those guys so young, but it is very inspiring to see them grow into adulthood from shortly before debut until now.

s s

im so glad you guys checked this out it kind of gives you insight on the kids room series just genuine talks and you learn alot about the members and their relationships with eachother its genuinely so amazing to watch them grow as the series progresses

Marika

omg yes i completely agree, that is definitely a must!

Klaramell

Pretty sure others mentioned it already, but i'll still say it. For Clé 1 : Miroh there's a video where 3racha have a pre talk with jyp. It also gives an insight in the album. Here's the link if you want to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxc7Y8qysHE

Klaramell

Just a question. Wouldn't it make more sense to listen to the songs from go live and in life now. And then watch the intro for noeasy and listen to the songs from noeasy. This way you can experience the album fully and you can remember what they said about each song better. Just an idea 🤔

sysrae

Seconding what others have said above, but if you were moved to see them talk about each other and their relationships by this clip, then you're definitely going to enjoy the 2 Kids Room and related content whenever you get to it! Particularly in the more recent videos when they're a little older and have become more reflective about each other and themselves, there's genuinely something so special about, not only their relationships, but how incisively, honestly and compassionately they're able to talk about each other - it's not just rare within idol culture, but rare in any context. To give an example, I stumbled on a video of a guy who's some sort of relationship coach, along with his mother, who does the same work - neither of them kpop fans - cold reacting together to Han and Lee Know being interviewed by Changbin in the most recent 2 Kids Show series, and this woman was absolutely jawdropped at how Han in particular talked about Lee Know, not just in terms of how well he knew him, but his ability to articulate it. And then, of course, in addition to being touching and sentimental, they're frequently just several beloved idiots sharing a braincell and being absolutely out of pocket with and about each other, which is equally delightful XD

Handsome Sausages

Yeh it would actually! :D The upload schedule just kinda made it go this way - because we ARE reacting to Go live tracks but it's just not as fast as our intro reactions. We do refer to the intro vid where necessary to refreshen our memories though! :)
