First time listening to Dreamcatcher. They're FIRE. This was one of the most requested songs on our Patreon page, and boy are we glad this won. Being 4 years old, it out-passes many current songs in creativity and daring approach. The genre, the mix of old and new, the lyrics and the rhythm & sources...everything is a surprise with this one! The way I clicked on this IMMEDIATELY. Dreamcatcher are SO SO underrated - I am SO happy you are checking them out, and Scream was a great place to start - I'd love to see you check our BOCA or BONVOYAGE next - both songs really showcase our Gen 4 Vocal Queen Siyeon! Scream was my first DC song and It made me an instant InSomnia

I still feel relatively new to Dreamcatcher so I don't have much information, buuuut I particularly love the songs Bon Voyage and OOTD. I think I've only heard one song of theirs that i knew was theirs. Its very possible i heard a song of theirs without knowing it was theirs. Immediately vocals on point. I like the rock feel of it. Yooooo that chorus was NIIIIIIICE. I had the meanest stank face for the entire second half of the song. This is sooooo good. I will definitely follow yall on this journey. This instrumental slaps so hard. I can see it being ATEEZ-like from my very limited ATEEZ knowledge. Oh I don't know who that older group is that you mentioned, but I definitely got 2000s Britney Vibes with the pop synth type feel.

Now you're back in my territory. ✧(｡•̀ᴗ-)✧ This is the "other" girl group that I follow. Scream is part 1 of their dystopia trilogy. This should be followed by Part 2 - Boca, then part 3 - Odd Eye. The text at the beginning says, "One day, suddenly, the light didn't come. People forgot how to say good things" And we watch the tree of life becoming dark. Some people compare these to Speak no Evil, Hear no Evil, Do no Evil, and I can kinda see it, but don't know for sure if that's what they were going for.

I fully agree with this! I fell in love with this song when I first heard it and Dami so stands out to me in the best of ways. But the vocals of all 7 are just Amazing! For a song that has some good buildup I also would recommend DejaVu. I'm also in love with Maison & Vision & Red Sun. Their new album as of Today (Comeback woohoo!!) has Justice, Stomp, 2 Rings & Fireflies... I'm head over heels for it.

Ohhhhh, look, you've found my other favorite group. This is my favorite DC title track, the whole album is incredible. I still listen to it all the time. DC have excellent vocals. I'd also reccomend Piri, Bocca, Red Sun, and BeCause as far as songs with videos. Their earlier stuff is more rock metal and j rocky and they've expanded from there. I love these girls. They're so good and for their entire run has been very horror/goth tinged 90% of the time. They also have beautiful ballads but their title tracks always go hard. Fun note: there is a very large overlap between Ateez and DC fandoms. They did share a couple of producers for a while.

As far as an intro song to Dreamcatcher, Scream would be my rec. You should check out its part 2 and 3, Bocca and Odd Eye I think... Then you can do more deeper dives if you want. I love them personally, they're more my typical music vibe than the cutsey pop stuff (though it has its mood placement too).

Oooh I've not listend to the new album yet! I like Vision and Maison but Red Sun is incredible, it's so different! I've had Full Moon and Over the Sky on repeat for months as well, for them Anime OST vibes! And Dami is just.. WAH. I love her so much.

I recall reading somehwere that the lose premise for the dystopia trilogy is basically talking about online bullying, so I think the see now eveil thing would make sense!
