This is the one that I was waiting for. I'm so freaking excited. You don't understand. Also, I don't know if you meant to do it, but the cover photo is just a gray square. Or at least it is for me up here. Oh y'all are so precious. But also same I couldn't sleep when the album came out. I love when D'some starts taking notes. Yes the way y'all freaked out when Lee know said I know you know Lee know that was exactly me. exactly me. 😹 The way I literally had to rewind 2racha's part multiple times because they were going so fast I couldn't read what the heck they were saying is crazy. D'some freezing during the "bridge" Is exactly what I expected. Actually. When I first listened to this song the words out of my mouth was so many sources. I cannot wait to hear handsome sausage react to this. Because I knew it would get y'all. I knew it would get y'all. Because it got us. It's so unexpected. Han-C's stink face when he was just vibing to that bridge/break/outro was also me. That silence at the end is so real. So real! Han-C I absolutely loved that dance breaking example 😹. I absolutely love you guys breaking down on music because I don't think I noticed that part. The course A chorus B and all of that. Yeah I definitely heard God damn and not got them. Lol D'some sounds so angry 🤣. Everybody did their thing on this.

I see what I.N. meant in the Intro by saying JJAM is so stray kids. Han's prechorus went so incredibly hard into Hyunjin chorus! then I just couldnt even believe Han and Changbin's rap and when "I know, you know, Lee Know" made it's grand return. Loveee when 3racha plays around with song structure, and I think the way they use rhythm and offbeats gives like a wittiness to some of their songs. I'll be sooo interested to hear when y'all think of I Like It since its got a crazy instrumental

Speaking of Versions - Chk Chk Boom ver EP is out today too!! :D :D I honestly think I like the deadeye (idk, weird name... cue shrug) version better than the og!! Also, a question about kpop in general: Do groups purposely not doing a lot of harmonies? Given I really ONLY listen to Skz and like a few songs here and there of others, but it just seems odd that they don't harmonize in songs more often. ESPECIALLY when Skz do it SO WELL!!

I'm so glad we get to hear corrections and context from you guys on the lyrics. As a nonspeaker (beginner learner) of Korean it greatly helps having the extra explanation. The Korean language has so much untranslatable nuance and multiple meanings (which I find intriguing and beautiful btw 😉) that just looking at the exact translation of SKZ lyrics might make you think they're simplistic or silly or nonsensical, but when you find out the true, deeper meaning, your mind gets truly blown lol. Thank you so much for always taking the time to break things down! Truly appreciate ya'll ❤️!

Just in case you are worried that your videos are too long for us - they're not. There are so many reaction videos that I cut off after 5 minutes, because these people have nothing to say. With you I feel like I'm taking a course in Korean culture and music theory at the same time, absolutely love it and appriciate what you're doing. Just an idea - how about making a whole album discussion after you've reacted to all songs and maybe have more insight?

When I heard the song for the first couple of times I thought, wait, I need Handsome Sausages to break it down for me in digestible, understandable pieces. So I waited so much for this and thank you so much for exceeding my expectations!!! This really helped a lot! And: feel free to serve a second reaction, if you find a lot more to add after further listening, it would be so much appreciated! ( goes for the other titles as well, as Stray Kids songs are so complex). What I was wondering (as my understanding of music is not that great): Bang Chan mentioned in an interview that he is into Jazz at the moment and songs like this might be the result of him bringing ideas / structures from there into his own work and experimenting and exploring new ways. What do you think?

Your mini music lectures and breakdowns are so fun I love it. I also love that you've graduated to actively taking notes when listening because (as someone who studied writing and film) that's exactly how I react when I come across something so good and need to absorb and decode every little bit of it. I love that Stray Kids songs aren't just for fun they open up this whole world of multilingual wordplay and lessons in sound and structure.

This was the song I was most excited for y’all to react to. Being half Korean I picked up on so much of the word play that many of my non-Korean and non-Korean speaking friends missed. And it made me soo excited. Plus I had totally forgotten about 도리 도리 잼잼 until hearing this song. I heard that and was like holy shit core memory unlocked. I remember doing that and 짝짝 꿍 with my halmoni and my mom. I was explaining to so many stays that didn’t have that background the amount of word play with not only jam as in jelly and jam as in music but also 재미 and the 도리 도리 잼잼. Plus while y’all were freaking out over I know you know Lee know. You missed a really fun word play where Han says “snare, hi-hat, drum & bass” as the music genre turns to drum & bass. Like this song scratches my brain in the best way. They’re playing Lollapalooza in Chicago next week and I hope to god I can hear them perform this live. If they do I don’t know how I’m supposed to survive.

As someone that’s Korean and speaks a little Korean (honestly my Korean is soo bad) but songs like this are part of why I love Handsome Sausages. I was so excited for them to do a breakdown of the lyrics and talk about the word play cause I caught pretty much all of it and a lot of my friends are in the same boat as you where they either don’t speak it or they are just starting to learn and so I was so excited to hear about the word play from other people that speak it cause the lyrics are sooo good and the word play is so much fun.
