The MV is CRAZY deep with this one :0 Before we could even digest SVT's Love, Money, Fame, they hit us with another MV - this time, for EYES ON YOU! Right before reacting to this MV, we learned that the album title 'Spill the Feels' is an anagram for 'I feel helpless', and perhaps that had some influence in our viewing experience, but the discrepancy between the MV and the music was STRONG. While the music takes the classic Shift K3Y sound and keeps itself simple enough to feel like a summer EDM piece, the MV goes all in with the calculated framing, structured narrative, and symbolic use of aspect ratio change. We go fairly far with our theories without having prior knowledge to SVT lore, so bare that in mind when you watch, but it should still be a very fun video if you like to know about filmmaking and music production!
