Here's our reaction to ATEEZ's Take Me Home, the supposedly evil twin sister of Cyberpunk (it indeed was), and one of the most requested song in general on our channel!

Oh this was so much fun. That saxophone entry? I mean, see for yourself how we react. It was wild.

Enjoy!

Musicians react & review ♡ ATEEZ - Take Me Home

THE EVIL TWIN SISTER OF CYBERPUNK? UHM YEH, VERY. You all requested that we react to Take Me Home, and to that, we say, "THANK YOU" - because DANG this was awesome. There were more musical links than we thought to Cyberpunk, with just the right amount of differences and unique flavors that only Take Me Home can bring that makes it a completely different experience - the perfectly balanced homage and a partner. We loved it, it was so much fun, and that saxophone at the end nearly suffocated us so...yeh, there's that. Let us know what other ATEEZ songs we can react to from here, but of course, we ARE reacting to EVERY SINGLE ATEEZ SONG from the VERY START over at our patreon page. Thanks for reacting to Take Me Home.... btw you kind of have it worded backwards, Cyber punk is the darker twin to Take Me Home... Take Me Home would be the Good Twin

Just when you think you understand the beat of an ATEEZ song, they always do something entirely unexpected. Even their "lighter" and "ballad" songs have that sort of edge to them. Glad you loved it! You should check out the stage they did to it: https://youtu.be/mK2nz1hm2es

So for Ateez’s lore they basically have a multiverse. We begin with our og Ateez in the A dimension in the beginnings of their albums, whose biggest struggle is finding their paths throughout their youth but then we later on meet their doppelgängers who come from the Z dimension who essentially ask for their help in overthrowing an oppressive regime in their dimension where music, art & anything that inspires emotion is banned. Take Me Home and the fever pt 2 album in general take place in the Z dimension as well as Cyberpunk and the world ep 1 album (that is why the lyrics of both of the songs speak roughly of being trapped, wanting to break free of the illusion that’s being presented to them)

Hoo boy, nothing hits quite as hard as hearing that sax solo for the first time. Truly a highlight of the Ateez journey hahahaha. Also it's funny you should mentioned the bit about driving and the sunset, during an online concert they actually had a setup pretty similar to what you said - they were driving down a road at sunset, in a pickup truck (can't quite fit them all in a convertible now can you 😂).

Yep, I'm Liberty

I had to pause and wait for my mouth to close when I heard that sax solo the first time, it just came out of nowhere! But it is so damn perfect in that song. It also made my daughter want the link to the song, so that's a plus in my book. ♡

Ahhh that makes more sense!! Should've seen this before we did our reaction to Say My Name haha. Thank you for the info :)

ahhhh yes! THIS. SONG. it just soars somehow. i play it constantly. the 80s sax solo is EVERYTHING. 🎷 there was some clip somewhere i saw that yunho picked up a gas can and started “playing” it like a sax, and when one of the others looked at him weird, he said, “it’s a take me home!” and then kept playing. the editors drew on a sax and some music waves and added the sax solo part to the audio. i love that clip so freakin much we call it the gas can solo now. i even made a “gas can” playlist of songs with s-class saxophones in them. 🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷🎷
