Yooooooo THANK YOU for recommending thisssss.

The video speaks for itself, but we realized that we pretty much forgot how great ATEEZ is at dancing.

Such a fun reaction this one, and let us know what the 'From' video is all about and we'll include that where we find it fit!

Hope you enjoy!

Love. xoxo.

They are all about they’re facial expressions. Especially the ‘demon line’. And Yunho is the main/lead dancer. Numero uno top dancer of the group.

Briana

Wooyoung did an artist of the month with Studio Choom.

Thank you- love these! Yunho was picked for a solo as the main dancer but yes they are all insanely talented, especially with the facial expressions/characterizations. I don’t believe that they choreographed these themselves but they have done some of their own in the past- they had a challenge to remake some of the choreo in Exo’s “Growl” in 24 hours (they had to learn the first half and then remake the 2nd) https://youtu.be/jCs5fRozjms They also did a dance cover of “Sicko Mode”- so good!! https://youtu.be/3ZkSOpQy2GI Thank you so much for checking out their dances as well- they are amazing all-round performers ❤️❤️

They are all amazing dancers, but in early times Yunho was definitely considered main dancer. Recently Mingi did a youtube live where he was just dancing, no specific full on choreos just him vibing with music, it was super entertaining to watch while I was doing some other stuff. You can find it in their recent lives. As Briana mentioned in the comments here Wooyoung did an artist of the month with Studio Choom, highly recommend watching that as well (as well as TXT's Yeonjun and SKZ's Hyunjin AOTM videos because honestly, all amazing). There's many clips from variety shows that show the members doing other groups' dances. Seonghwa is especially known for girl group dances, although Jongho surprises me too at times haha.

I love these early performances! The first dance in particular got them noticed pre-debut; there's even a clip from one of their early variety show series where they go to film content on the street and they get recognised by a fan because of the dance. Relatedly, as you mention being excited for the Kingdom routines: have you ever watched Hyunjin's Artist of the Month dance performances? They're both incredible!

Yay! So glad you loved them! So Ateez practiced dance in LA for a month predebut at the millennium dance complex (a popular dance studio). These videos were pretty much to showcase how much they improved and their talent. Ateez said that that month pretty much changed them and made them performers. I don't think they choreographed these but that have choreographed before. Yunho was chosen by the instructers there because his dancing stood out the most/was the best at the time (Yunho is an amazing technical dancer). Also, that third performance song mix was done by hongjoong:) when these came out, they went viral and people actually thought they were a dance crew. Ateez are all about facial expressions and performing too. That's what makes them one of the most talented and best kpop groups, despite coming from such a small company. Hala Hala was what put them on the map specifically because it showcased their stage presence and performance skills. You'll ALWAYS see Ateez doing facial expressions when dancing. Ateez are pretty much the first 4th gen groups to PERFORM and do facial expressions They also focus more on individuality while dancing too, so while they can really do it in sync, the members a lot of the times like to put their own spin on it. You really need to check out their performances! They're the best 4th gen performance group for a reason🔥 And I'm so excited for you to check out kingdom! Their wonderland kingdom performances was voted as the best kpop performance of 2021:) Lastly, from is predebut Ateez and hongjoong composed it. All members took part in writing their own parts

Yeees, Ateez are absolute performance BEASTS. I actually think that the more comfortable they got with their dancing and the better they shaped their artistry, the less 'synchronized' they became. If you watch later performances or dance practices, each member will do a move completely different from the rest, with their own flare. They've actually made fun of each other for how they do specific moves haha. Gotta add my vote for Wooyoung's AOTM - it's still my favorite out of all that have come out, and some absolute show stoppers are in that list. I'd also add my two cents for which dance practices are worth it - Horizon, Thanxx and Wonderland are some I'd always happily rewatch. The Immortal song performances are insane as well, and another favorite is this Gayo Daejeon performance - the dance break between the two songs is iconic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07AT6fLH1Gs&ab_channel=%EC%8A%A4%EB%B8%8C%EC%8A%A4%EC%BC%80%EC%9D%B4%ED%8C%9DXINKIGAYO

Yep, I'm Liberty

But how hyped did you get for Coco?! I totally was not expecting that. lol Performance #3 is one of my favorites because Jongho is in the center for the first half and it just reminds me that he is so much more than an amazing voice. Because of his lines, he doesn't always get to dance as hard or as often as the other members so it's easy to kind of "forget" just how damn talented he is. The thumbnail that you showed is the correct one, it is their pre-debut release (think Stray Kids Hellevator), so it's definitely worth a watch when you get some time. I am super excited to see you get into dance performances - even if you don't make it a regular feature (and of course, I got a playlist, lol), I still think that watching them along with the MVs will help you gain a whole new appreciation for all the hard work that all of the artists put in.

omg i’m so happy you loved them!! I love love LOVE that they put Jongho in the center for some of those because people sleep on his dance talent!! he’s inCREDIBLE!! “From” is a song that all the members contributed to writing while they were in LA. It’s really special because it is directly from them and what was on their heart at that probably hectic, nerve wrecking, but exciting time before their debut. It’s incredible :) I’m excited for you guys to watch it!!

Just another note about "From". When they were in LA studying at the dance studio and living in one house in July 2018, they filmed their first little mini reality series which is one of the earliest pieces of content on their channel. Writing, composing, recording, and filming "From" was the culmination of their trip and of the series, and it was the first thing they created. The first song written together, the first time recording in a studio, the first music video they ever filmed, the first piece of music from them as a group, still known as KQ Fellaz, before they were named Ateez. KQ followed the same pattern 8 months ago with xikers when they were still known as "KQ Fellaz 2" They also were sent to LA, to the same dance studio, and filmed a small mini series as their first piece of content. And, like "From", they wrote, composed, recorded and filmed their own first MV...called "Geek". They chose it after Ateez members stopped by their rental house while on tour and listened to a few songs they were choosing between (a wonderful part of the series). Under the title card of "Geek" it says "Respect to Ateez-'From'" . That was the moment it really hit Atiny that Ateez were now truly big brothers and mentors to a new set of trainees. Watching KQ Fellaz 2 follow the exact same journey in LA, but having Ateez to look up to was absolutely amazing and of course sent us all back to the very first things that Ateez ever created. xikers later performed "Geek" as KQ Fellaz 2 along with "Tricky House" at a couple North American Ateez concerts and at a few K-Con events. All pre-debut....and before they were named xikers. So really, everything starts with "From". It might be worth watching "From" and "Geek" together, as a natural lead in to checking out xikers. You can see where KQ came from, and then where it is going. Your reactions are the best :)

김수미

Talking about solo dances from Ateez members Wooyoung was one of the Artists of the Month for studio choom and did a solo dance to the song Bad by Christopher. Yeonjun from TXT also had a solo dance for artist of the month as well as Hyunjin from Stray Kids each to different songs and in different styles all of them are amazing and you should check them out.

J

And because you are going to ask: Captain Hongjoong composed and arranged "From", and all the members contributed to the lyrics. Minjae (Goblin King of xikers) composed and arranged "Geek" and all 3 rappers contributed to the lyrics. When San heard the intro of "Geek", he instantly said " it's the KQ blood!" and you can hear it, how much Hongjoong and Minjae are influenced by Eden and the sounds of Eden-ary. Their songs sound like them as individuals, but also sound like KQ. (You know about Eden-ary, right? The group of producers responsible for the music of Ateex and xikers? and BB trippin, their dance trainers/choreographers/backup dancers?)

Kim

San did a short solo performance piece as part of the lead up to Kingdom, one dancer from each of the competing teams did one, San's is definitely interesting and helps illustrate why he's a member of Ateez's "demon line" he's really got the best performance expressions I will say honestly in all of kpop - https://youtu.be/RKQEfIOSKW8?t=112 And of course Wooyoung's Artist of the Month Studio Choom, just really shows how much charisma he has on his own. ok, silly me forgot these two as well - San and Wooyoung's dance break before Answer, which doesn't actually go into any of the song - https://youtu.be/8aiFWD5nF5Q and San and Wooyoung's Fake Love dance cover - https://youtu.be/nSTQgrXTj-U

new Patreon!! Needed to join you on your ateez journey I love seeing people get into them. I also wanted to ask if you’d ever do a guide on them? If you don’t do member guides that’s perfectly fine! but genuinely they’re some of the most humble and kind artists that I see in the kpop industry right now and getting to know them as people is even better Because actuallyyy they’ve stated that some of their lore, bits n pieces of their characters, actually represent things about their real lives!!! 1 prime examples being wooyoungs character in their lore suffers from anxiety and wooyoung does talk a lot about the hard time he had as a trainee in bighit due to his stage freight it woukd be interesting nonetheless but thank you so much for liking our ateez! keep up the good reactions

_Dani.Lynn_

The would love the Treasure Film. It would fit perfectly after this.

Skye

As far as i know Hongjoong also mixed the song for the 3rd Performance Video!

Eva Minster

On YouTube they often upload dance relays, or solo dances of their songs. So in the solos the member dances their own parts so you can focus on their dance. In dance relays they take turns doing the dancing and singing of other members for that song.

Handsome Sausages

Totally agree! And wow the trivia about hoongjoong mixing the third song is crayyyyyy. Makes us appreciate everything so much more! Absolutely checking out 'from' now! :D

Handsome Sausages

Gayo Daejeon perf noted !!! And definitely going for AOTM clips for all artists we currently react to :D It sound likes so much fun!

Handsome Sausages

Hahaha we have no idea why we were so hyped up - probably thanks to ATEEZ. We absolutely love doing dance video reactions so we might do more ;)

Handsome Sausages

Wuw so much cool info - thank you for that! And thanks for loving our reactions :D We're actually super excited for xikers as well so....yeh! So much more to come!

The guides are simply for new fans to understand the members individual personalities better! Outside of mvs performance lore etc so it states fun facts, quoted statements & their journey start to current starting from an unknown company with low budget you can also come to understand how they organize their crafts, talks about their in house production, how they take part in production / song writing, how they organize their comebacks by promoting 2 tracks so the public can vote it’s rlly interesting to see how much they actually put into their craft while seeing their personalities and characteristics as well! The most helpful, detailed and popular guide is “the Ultimate Guide to Ateez 2023” by OfAllTheKennys but if the 1 hour is too long there is an abridged version which is about 30 minutes! We love their music but we love their personas so much more so it’s always very fun and entertaining to watch others react to their guides!

Nebula

New patreon here for ATEEZ’s discovery journey! AAAA I’m so excited for you guys!! Love your reactions on YouTube too, I always gets super excited when you react to ATEEZ! 🏴‍☠️ Just wanted to say that Hongjoong actually remixed the second half of Performance #3 when Day N’ Night starts, never seen anyone mention this yet. Thank you for loving our ATEEZ ♥️

♡ Bludreamgirl ♡

Had to run to this one right after Pirate king lol I am pretty sure that they didn't choreograph anything themselves for these performances I thought they did at first but was corrected. The art is in the execution to me, whenever a dancer is handed something and makes it into their own and something everyone can be proud of. ♡ This also makes me wonder if you have seen WooYoungs AOTM on StudioChoom, I like studiochoom because they are never singing it is pure choreo. Ateez has been on it multiple times for many songs that you haven't reached yet. However when it comes to Ateez live performances? I can't even BEGIN to express how excited I am that you are starting Kingdom because all of my favorite live performances are on there. 😭

Paulina

Wooyoung's Artist of the Month performance!!!! You have to check it out if you want their solo pieces <3

Song

you might be thinking of their growl preformance during the kq fellaz filming. i know for that dance preformance thet had to come up with a dance and they chose exo's growl to dance to.
