A beautiful B-side track, and one more to go in that regard, but this album was one hell of an album (to be frank, every single album from ATEEZ has been nothing but amazing, but this one just felt more connected and fluid in its progression), and we are psyched to check out the last two tracks!

We also realized after recording that there are some live performances for Sunrise - if you wish to see us react to that as well, let us know!

Hope you enjoy! <3

I know I don't have any true favorites because they're all so good, but this is one of my favorites in terms of always cheering me up. You guys described it well -- it's like you're depressed, but you don't want to be so you're begging someone to give you some kind of hope (even if it's a false hope), which allows you to find real hope and kind of keep yourself going. It's very much a "just keep putting one step in front of the other" kind of message, and I love it because it embraces the fact that nothing is going to have a quick fix and it really is a matter of consciously moving forward every day, sunrise after sunrise.

I would love to see you react to the live. The choreography also tells the story of each member joining KQ which shows how lonely HJ was before Yunho came, and then one by one the other members joined them. Thus Ateez was born, kinda like a Sunrise!

Thanks guys as always! Yes, it’s like a hug when you’re down and sometimes that’s all you need. And live stages are always appreciated! The final track (Beginning of the End) is an Outro (Just under 2 min long), so you could always do them both…but the Outro has a different feel than With U. The Japanese album has Declaration (which is a lot of ours favorite) instrumental track. There is “Better” which is an original song, but they do release the Korean version later in the Fever series. The rest are remixed tracks from the producers. The remixed ones are usually not my personal favorite, I generally prefer the original (with the exception of Rocky and Guerilla). This is just my suggestion, but I would listen to Declaration first (1:21 track) and go right into Answer MV… ❤️ But you do you boos!

I love this song. Even now I go back to it if I'm feeling tired and need some encouragement. I DO recommend the live it's a really cool choreo. Thinking about the observation that this song (and frankly many of Ateez more calm songs) have a positive message with a little tinge of sadness. It reminds me of a vlive Honjoong did talking about the fact that he intentionally doesn't want to make songs that ignore that people are sad or lonely or angry or struggling. He wants to make songs that acknowledge how people are feeling but will give them hope and encouragement. During the next album series (Fever) it was very common for 1-2 of the songs to be this kind of a little bittersweet but mostly encouraging.

I’m not much of an atiny but this is my fave bside from ateez. It makes me CRYYY every time I hear it. Literally wiping my eyes as I type this. The lyrics are so powerful mixed with the instrumentals in the chorus just GET ME. I love this song so much. 🥲

Yes please live version! Live version has special choreography representing the start of the sunrise...when Yunho joined the KQ and Hongjoong was no longer alone, and then the rest of them joined one by one. It's lovely when they all sing the encouraging words to each other and the audience, reminding us all to just keep going till we get there. If nobody has reminded you lately, KQ was a production company, had no intention of debuting idols, and Hongjoong was their only trainee for a good long time, just learning music production in his own from Eden-ary. He wasn't naturally good at anything except sheer hard work, so everything was a struggle for a while. I keep meaning to link you this interview. It's an English interview with Eden, and explains a lot about what makes KQ so unusual and Ateez music even more so. Destiny indeed. https://www.mtv.com/news/n8dn7s/eden-interview-k-pop-producer-ateez
