Elena wants to be angry at Damon so badly after she learns the truth but can't because his plan actually did save Bonnie. Nice to finally see Klaus on screen along with his massive ego. That scene where he's talking with Damon and looks genuinely upset because Damon isn't impressed with his badassery is too good.

Poor Klaus was so proud of himself with that dedication only to be shut down by Damon, genuinely one of the funniest moments in this season. Also I can't tell you how much I loved Damon and Bonnie in this episode, they proved in this episode that they are the GOATS of the crew hands down. I absolutely love Damon's quote "I don't mind being the bad guy, I'll make all the life and death decisions while your worried about collateral damage, I'll even let her hate me for it, but at the end of the day, I'll be the one to keep her alive". Such a fantastic speech that sets the tone for who the brother's are to their core's and also a little foreshadowing. Plus Damon's "I will always choose you!!!!" gets me every time.

damon saying "I will always choose you" to Elena is one of the most iconic delena scenes of all time. Also it is just straight facts that damon will always be the one to keep Elena alive no matter what. He will do anything for Elena and that is why he will be my favorite character. his capacity to protect his loved ones is my favorite trait. he killed it this episode.

Damon being in love with Elena is really weird because no, she has not shown any feelings back. She has rejected him how many times now.. and if he really did love her he would put her feelings before his own!! As in not sacrificing people she loves because of his obsession with Elena. That's the difference between Stefan and Demon! and why Stefan will always be the better man! anyways, love the little Stefan love! Alaric/Klaus was so hilarious and yes, i did cry when i thought Bonnie died! She is my number one and always will be! Damon and Bonnie have insane chemistry. Bamon as a ship name is so much better then Delena imo.

Imagine having the most perfect perfect boyfriend and then playing both sides to a man who has ate your feelings and shit it out lmao. Girl hit the jackpot with a boyfriend like Stefan but wanna eat her cake with Damon too. I don’t think Elena is completely innocent in the situation but she has said over and over how she feels about Stefan but Damon oversteps and doesn’t take no for an answer. What I mean is that Damon is so selfishly motivated. It’s always him him him. Of course Elena wouldn’t want to sacrifice her friends and it’s selfish for Damon to dismiss that. Also Stefan is a better man than most lmao. Letting your brother openly be in love with your girlfriend just so she can be protected proves how great of a person he is. Stefan is definitely the better man and person in general. Any other person, vampire or not, would not allow that type of disrespect because Damon is actively disrespecting Stefan. It is weird af to chase your brother’s girlfriend no ifs ands or buts about it. I don’t even see the love really because like you said, he always puts his feelings over hers. He’s so impulsive and being an impulsive vampire is being a stupid vampire. That sets Elijah and Klaus apart from Damon. Elijah and Klaus are not saints or angels in any form but they are definitely refined and intelligent gentlemen lol. Not impulsive. Bonnie made me cry so hard. I was not ready for that and I love her character so much. I also love Damon and Bonnie’s chemistry. It comes across so well on screen and I think that’s because of their real life friendship. Damon isn’t that bad when he’s being a friend to Elena’s friends and showing “genuine” genuine care towards them and when he isn’t running after Elena romantically. Still selfish and self motivated but a tiny bit better. That care isn’t that genuine though since he told Elena “I’ll always choose you” while saying he doesn’t care about Bonnie’s life in relation to hers. I’d be so grossed out if a guy told me he’d let my best friend die to hypothetically save my life.

Love Zuff for the Stefan love! And of course, Kat Graham is so beautiful. Definitely agree. I am with Bryce on the Bonnie and Damon interactions. I love it but I also love Jeremy and Bonnie. Caroline is really growing on me. I like her character’s bubbly personality. Amazing reaction 💕🙆🏽‍♀️
