I love Larys outright saying to Alicent's face - Um, we're fighting a war because we find women unfit to rule....how would it look if we put a woman in charge. Don't be ridiculous. And then just seeing that slowly seep through every pore in Alicent's body as she finally understands what she has been supporting but has been willfully blind to. Her, with experience, sitting there impotent as her young sons who she finds disgusting and disappointing are raised up. Also, Baela is awesome. That scene with her and Corlys was the best of the episode. Rob was right, Meleys was Damon's Mom's dragon. Baela said that Damon tried to claim her and failed, then Rhaenys claimed her.
