This is was the last drawing I did during last night's Picarto  stream. There was a request for an anthro version of Tempest Storm as punk guitarist.    

Since I only had about 45 minutes to work with went for a fairly  standard pose. I got the figure and pose in during the stream, and today  I spent about another 50 minutes shading the piece and correcting a  couple of flaws with the initially composition. I want to thank Caerdwyn and Dusty for their feedback after the stream since I am no guitar player.

This came out great! The detail on the Gibson are nice! I’m a Les Paul guy, but the Explorer has a nicer body, really lends itself to how hard edged Fizzlepop is. I like the detail to her bracers, I can see the snaps where they close. I think it’s that attention to detail that I like most about your art. You don’t skimp on the little things.

Actually it is a ESP Hetfield <a href="https://www.espguitars.com/products?categories=james-hetfield" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.espguitars.com/products?categories=james-hetfield</a> guitar. All I can say is I try to sweat the details.

Oh, I see. The Hetfield has a concave end, and the top has a more pronounced angle than an Explorer, plus the pickups are covered, and a lack of a pick guard. I wasn't familiar with the Hetfield hence my mistaking it with the Explorer.

No problem I was unfamiliar with the ESP before this drawing, and I got a couple angles off on it, but for a seat of the pants drawing with preplanning it came out alright.
