Strike from above! (Patreon)

This is one of two pieces I poked at off an on during last night's Picarto stream. I want to thank everyone who tuned in and made my guest artist Jeff Bramschreiber feel welcome and at home in the stream. I hope to have back in the fall of 2019. 

       The piece is a patron reward for RebelSqurl. It's the first in series 6 drawings I will be doing of the anthro Mane Six as if they were 5th Edition D&D characters. First up is Rainbow Dash. 

       Although the show portrayed her as a rogue type character in the Season Six episode Dungeons and Discords. I see RD as being a Viking style barbarian. Striking from above like some Valkyrie from Valhalla. I'd especially play her as a Path of the Storm Herald barbarian as found in Xanathar's Guide to Everything. Although none of the Storm Aura listed in the guide are a perfect fit for her. If I was to run her I'd probably ask the DM if we could homebrew something with more emphasis on wind and lightning. I mean come on. She's got a lightning bolt on her butt!
