The mage (Patreon)

A recently completed commission. The character's name is Shushi and he's a Tabaxi evocation wizard in 5th edition D&D. The client wanted the character to look a bit like a Maine Coon cat who keeps his fur trimmed a bit on the short side.  

      When I started discussing the character with the client I learned that they visualized the character the moving in broad, fluid, dynamic gestures while casting their spells. Also that their wardrobe was more bit more Chinese in nature.

      With that information I started looking at various martial arts to develop possible poses for the piece. Both Kung Fu and Tai-Chi. I didn't attempt to adhere to a particular school or style. Instead I used them to draw inspiration from this piece here.
