Some study sketches for an upcoming finished drawing that will have an anthro Princess Luna as 1980's aerobic student/instructor. So before I started on the finished piece I wanted to sure myself in and the client were on the same page of the book.

In the 80's there were aerobic studios in every mall it seemed like, and if you were walking through them you'd see people doing this. Link

Kinda glad I didn’t live though the 80’s, it seems like a strange time

It was very surreal but still neat in many ways. Especially living in Silicon Valley at the time.

Yeah, I’d imagine that was a hotspot, one of many, for prime 80’s

I remember the aerobic studios, but I strongly assume this hippity hopping almost certainly was a US thing only!

BaronEngel

It seemed to depend on the individual studio. Some were super bouncy while others were more jazz dance studios.

Yeah when I worked at Montgomery Wards I often would take my lunch near the food court area and watch the free show.

My wife had a Denise Austin video exercise tape (old VHS) she had me working out with. The scenery was nice....and at 45 minutes wore me out. She use to go to an all female only workout center when we lived in Dallas. Now I HIIT train using weights and aerobics....after all this shutdown I am still at a 39 in waist at 210. I use some moves from that old Austin tape for warming up.
