One of the drawing started during my most recent Picarto stream. With the start of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics that was the theme of stream. Besides drawing athletes performing is a great way to hone your figure drawing skills. 

    Rhythmic gymnastics is an elegant combination of ballet dance, contortionist performance, and various forms of balancing acts. So for this piece I decide to draw Ponyville's bendiest pony Blossomforth performing her floor routine with the ribbon.

I remember watching the Olympics when I was younger and was always fascinated by the gymnastics and ribbon performances. it takes an incredible amount of training to get flexible enough to pull off some of the routines while keeping spatial awareness enough to manipulate the ribbon without it going limp or becoming tangled. And you did a very wonderful job with giving the impression of motion to dear Blossomforth as they do their routine. :)
