Almost everyday, for years now, Applebloom has seen her big brother and other ponies around Ponyville wear heavy work harnesses in my Equestria dreamscape. It had just been part of the visual landscape. Something she'd just taken for granted. Until now.

     Seeing Stone Mane standing there in the barn wearing the same type tack really got her attention. Link All those straps and how they hung off a pony's body was suddenly very, very interesting to her. She couldn't put it into words but she could look at Stone Mane all day in that outfit. She didn't know why, and at the moment she didn't care.
