Oath Taker Bloom (Patreon)

A scene from my Equestria dreamscape that happened just a couple of  nights ago. I didn't want to forget specific details, so I decided to  do these drawings for future reference.

     Applebloom casually hung from her giant scythe as it floated in the air.  Her normally deep rose colored mane and tail were now roiling masses of flame. In spite of this her signature red bow was unscathed from the  flames. Her legs appeared to sheathed shadows and smoke that flowed away in wispy tendrils. From spot in the center of her chest and neck a pool  of inky black appeared and then flowed around her neck forming a stout  collar. On her chest the black oozed out to form an 8 pointed symbol.  From center of both there emerged a single malachite green cat eye.

     Applebloom looked down at immense horde of beings assembled beneath her. They stood within a gigantic ring that was wreathed in yellow-green  flames of her creation. She took a deep breath and then her voice  thundered out.

     "Y'all of the Howling  Darkness whose lives have been spared! Swear yer oaths now! Y'all who've  promised ta no longer threaten the Dream Witch and the subjects of her  realm! Swear yer oaths now! Y'all who've said ya will not trespass upon  fabric of ponies dreams. Swear yer oaths now! Or by light of the moon  I'll strike y'all down where ya stand!"
