    Individuals who've engaged in piracy have existed since ancient times and they continue to exist in the modern day. The anime Black Lagoon deals with modern day pirates and smugglers in Southeast Asia. Link  

    One of the main characters in Black Lagoon is the dual pistol wielding pistolera Revy. With her twin custom long slide Beretta 92 she's a force to be reckoned with.
