Recently a long time supporter of mine ReCoyote mentioned the idea of my OC Carousel driving a Jeep. So while still bouncing back from the crud today I drew this out. I settled on a 1980s CJ5 for the inspiration of the piece. I decided to have the vehicle in the motion to permit me to blur the wheels and hide parts of the suspension in shadow.

CJ5, great choice! My brother and I had one 15 years ago that we put a 350 short block into, upgraded the roll cage to 8 points, and put on 40" tires. We named it "Tiffany" and she was our grown-up toy that we beat to hell and back for some of the greatest memories. We rolled and crashed and launched that girl airborne as much as any Hot Wheels.

Yeah, I remember seeing one decked out in the 80s that had a Tamiya sticker on it. This was right when Tamiya came out with their off-road R/C cars.
