The passport scene with Nicky is very underrated in my opinion - the Greek telling him while watching the sports playing and saying "Why they need sticks, why can't they can't kick it with their feet" transports so much of all the situations we encountered already in the series. If you think back at Carvers comment on the beating up scene when the products at the projects were losing their customers interesed and the customer got beaten up - he said "look at them - they fuck up, they get beaten, we fuck up, we lose our jobs" And that while looking the streets, which before were the showplace of so much murder and brutality. It spins and spins. They show one side going up, the other going down. One buisness grows, one gets busted and falling apart. Perfect example of reality they brought to view.

Just remembering one more thing that i like to put my finger on: The scene with Nicky and Frank discussing going for the deal of loyality instead going to the police - them meeting up with both cars looking the same - one bloody red (Frank) and one black (Nicky - dark path - yet without blood on his hands) - but then showing frank dressed suited and nicky in red like its already got onto the next generation there and the path is chosen.
