Marlene, now in Joseph's body, stared down at the strange remote in her hand, a skeptical expression on her face. A few minutes passed after that flash, which confused Marlene, who is completely sure that she is Joseph and always has been. She chuckled, thinking about how strange she must have looked, looking down at the girl who looked up at her and shouted something.
'I looked like some kind of maniac to her...' she thought, still chuckling to herself as she noticed a blinking red light on the remote. "This has got to be some kind of joke," she muttered and then pressed it, wanting to continue to joke... But nothing happened as it seemed to her...
Meanwhile, in the old, beat-up car speeding down the road, Joseph felt a sudden jolt run through his body, as if he’d been hit with a mild electric shock. “Ow! What in tarnation?” he exclaimed loudly in surprise, his voice suddenly sounding like Marlene's southern accent.
He blinked rapidly, feeling how something seemed to tickle on his shoulders. As he reached up to rub the back of his neck, his hand closed around long strands of long hair. He grabbed them in shock and tried to pull it, only to feel a sharp pain at the back of his head. The flash of a memory shot through his head as he felt this pain - he on his knees in the back of a dirty bar bathroom, feeling cold tile under his bare knees in front of Hank, as he grips his hair tightly, while Joseph tries his best with his mouth to suck him.
He looked at the guy behind the wheel with horror and turned his head to the side, looking out the grimy car window. 'Why don't I feel disgust?!' He thought, his mind racing, as his eyes landed on a tattered poster flapping against a telephone pole - “Whiskers Cat Food: Because Your Kitty Deserves the Best”. A strange warmth spread through Joseph's chest, and he was suddenly hit with the memory of Marlene's childhood cat, Whiskers. He could see the scraggly little furball in his mind's eye, remembering the way he used to cuddle it as a kid.
"What in the Sam Hill is goin' on with me?" Joseph wondered, shaking his head as if to clear it.
Hank's rough hand on his thigh snapped him back to the present. "C’mon, Marlene, don’t be playin’ hard to get," Hank grinned, his teeth yellowed and crooked. "I’m just tryin’ to keep things fun, you know?"
As Hank’s hand slid higher up his thigh, Joseph shivered. He almost forgot that his hand was still there. He wanted to push Hank away, to yell at him to keep his damn hands to himself. But as he tried to pull away, a strange thrill ran through him. He cringed at the memory of how he enjoyed rough touch.
"Get your damn hands off me, Hank," Joseph tried to say with authority, but his voice came out more as a soft whine. 'Hank?!' He realized with surprise and confusion and looked with wide eyes at Hank, feeling that something changed in his appearance - he became somehow more attractive and beautiful in the eyes of Joseph and that he now feeling a certain way about Hank. Hank chuckled and patted Joseph's thigh with a grin.
"Aw, don't be like that, sweetheart," Hank smirked as he gripped his thigh tightly. "You love it, Marly, and we both know it." Joseph felt his cheeks flush in embarrassment, and a shiver of pleasure ran through him as he felt Hank's hand caress his skin.
Joseph tried to focus on something else, anything else, to keep from giving in to whatever strange influence Marlene’s body seemed to be having on him. "We’re goin’ to that bar off Route 37, ain’t we?" he asked, surprising himself as the knowledge came to him as if he'd lived it all along.
"Yeah, babe, why ya askin'? You think I'm lyin' to ya?" Hank chuckled, clearly enjoying the reaction. "My star girl's got her big show tonight, ain't she?" he laughed loudly.
Joseph’s eyes widened even more at Hank's words as another wave of Marlene’s memories flooded him—grinding on stage, the cheers of drunken men, the feel of dollar bills being tucked into her panties. His cheeks flushed in embarrassment, yet a small part of him felt an inexplicable thrill.
Hank’s laughter broke through his thoughts. "You remember that time you slipped off the stage and fell right into ol’ Jimmy’s lap? Man, he sure didn’t mind, though. You gave him a show and a half that night!" Hank slapped the steering wheel, laughing uproariously.
Joseph felt his face twitch into a giggle before he even realized what he was doing. The laugh bubbled out of him uncontrollably, a high-pitched giggle that sounded utterly foreign to his ears. He found it very funny and he even remembered the exact situation where Jimmy's dick accidentally rubbed against his pussy while he tried to stand up after his fall, and the thought of that made him burst with laughter.
"Aw, Jimmy, it's nothin'," Joseph chuckled, shaking his head. "His dang cock always gets in da way when he gets drunk. That dang idiot." Joseph slapped the seat in front of him and laughed so hard that his belly hurt, his eyes watering.
Hank roared with laughter. "Oh man, I forgot all about that! You really showed that boy who is ma girl! Ah, I miss those days, Marlene. You really livened things up around here." Hank squeezed Joseph's thigh, making him blush.
Joseph blushed when he realized what he said. 'Oh no... no no no. I'm not gonna start being her.' he thought, shaking his head to try and clear his thoughts. 'I gotta find some way to switch back!' he turned away and tried to concentrate, trying not to notice Hank's hand on his thigh as the car sped along, taking them deeper and deeper into the countryside.
