Just a game show (Patreon)

The elevator hummed softly as it ascended, its polished mirrors reflecting the sleek, metallic walls. Brian adjusted his tie nervously, glancing at his reflection. "So weird being here," he thought to himself, looking up at the camera trained on him from above. "They're filming me from everywhere, like Big Brother or... what..." He paused as the elevator stopped and the light dimmed. He took a deep breath.
"This is just a game show," Brian thought to himself as he smelled a strange scent, similar to heavy perfume mixed with an undertone of plastic and oil. He felt a strange sensation, like his body was being pulled in different directions at once. "What's happening to me?" he gasped as his chest tingled and two soft mounds began to push against his shirt. His voice rose an octave. "Oh my God..." Brian felt his hair growing out, a blonde waterfall cascading down his shoulders in a silky wave.
As his suit morphed into a tight, grey dress that clung to every curve of his new, feminine body, he began to scream. "NO! PLEASE! I DIDN'T AGREE TO THIS!!!" he heard himself shout in a shrill voice when the light returned to the elevator, which started to descend again. Brian stumbled forward, feeling his high-heeled feet slide across the floor. He felt dizzy as he leaned on the elevator railing, his new big, round butt for support, looking down at his unfamiliar shape. His voice broke with fear. "This... This can't be real!"
The elevator doors opened, and Brian stumbled out, trying to keep his balance in the high heels. His voice trembled with emotion as he looked around at the people walking outside as if nothing strange had just happened.
"Welcome to the next level of 'Life Swap,' Brian. For the next month, you will live as a woman named Jessica. Your new tasks are designed to challenge how well you can navigate daily challenges as a woman. Complete them to unlock the final level of 'Life Swap,' with a shot at a grand prize!" said the producer with a grin into a microphone in a large studio, where a huge screen showed the whole room Jessica's stunned reaction, which she heard through a built-in speaker in her ear. "Your first task is really simple!" he said as someone handed her a small purse and a piece of paper.
She wanted to ask something, but the courier had already left her, barely standing on her heels and looking in shock at the small bag in her hand. She slowly, with trembling hands, unfolded the piece of paper.
"Your first task is to go shopping for an outfit suitable for a job interview. You have 2 hours," said the text on the paper in large letters. "Find a dress, shoes, and accessories. Budget: $200," she read silently to herself.
"Interview?!" Jessica exclaimed. "What is all this?! What are you guys up to?" she asked. But she slowly started walking. Her high heels were killing her, and she had a hard time walking, let alone thinking. The last thing she wanted to do was run an errand for this stupid game. She sighed, glancing down at the small piece of paper clutched tightly in her hand. "Calm down. I can do this," she thought to herself, taking a deep breath and forcing herself to keep moving forward.
The street was busy and crowded, filled with people going about their daily routines, but she noticed that people were staring at her and that some men looked at her as if she were a piece of meat. She clenched her teeth and walked straight forward, doing her best not to care about the people around her.
As Jessica completed her first challenge of the day, getting an interview dress, she felt a mixture of relief and shame. She couldn't forget how the salesman pestered her and tried to get to know her while selling her a dress, and how she looked at herself in the mirror for the first time, seeing a scared blonde instead of a cocky, overconfident man. She shuddered and put the thoughts away, walking out of the store.
Her next challenge was even worse. She had to go to a job interview as Jessica, fully aware that the producers were watching her every move. The interview was for a receptionist position at a high-end law firm that had agreed to take part in the experiment and didn't inform their employees about their participation. Even her interviewer, who had a very predatory attitude towards her, made it clear to Jessica how much he liked her, even inviting her to his house at the end of the interview, hinting that if she wanted the job, she would need to make some sacrifices.
