— Don’t look at me like that, for God’s sake, it’s just sex — said Franklin, staring at the girl who claimed to be his friend, the one who had disappeared a few months ago and now woke up in this body, connected to strange machines in some basement.

She frowned, crossing her arms over her chest, and her voice came out sharp, almost desperate. — You... you’re joking!? Damn it! It’s me! It’s me, Brian! You’ve known me since childhood! — She took a step forward, her chest bouncing in a way that immediately caught Franklin’s attention, and once again, he felt a distinct reaction between his legs.

He frowned, unable to take his eyes off her chest, and barely held back a laugh. 'What nonsense is she spouting?' he thought, remembering how he had just spoken to Brian that morning. Brian had been perfectly fine, explained his absence — nothing unusual. And now this girl shows up, spouting such absurdities? Though, her stunning figure could confuse anyone. Quite the act, honestly.

— But if you’re Brian, then obviously you wouldn’t refuse an old friend some good sex, would you, babe? — Franklin smirked, eyeing her with an obvious challenge.

The girl tensed, clenching her fists, her face twisted in a mix of desperation and anger. — Have you completely lost your mind? — she spat, stepping back. — Franklin, it’s me, Brian! And if you don’t stop this crap, I swear I’ll... — What? — his eyes narrowed as he stepped toward her, feeling fully in control of the situation. — Go on, tell me what you’re going to do.

She was silent. Her gaze darted between him and the windows, as if she were searching for an escape from this nightmare. Every muscle in her body was tense, like a stretched string. — You understand I don’t believe a word you’re saying, right? — Franklin continued, straightening up and casually shoving his hands in his pockets. — Brian, you say? I talked to him this morning. Where is he now? At some bar, drinking and having fun, as usual? And you… — he let his eyes travel over her body, openly admiring her, — you want me to believe that this beauty is him?

— Franklin, please, I don’t know what happened! I woke up in some damned basement, hooked up to a bunch of tubes. My head was all foggy, but I clearly remember looking in the mirror and seeing... this!

Franklin snorted, watching as she grabbed her chest, clearly unsure of what exactly she was trying to prove. — Well, sweetheart, — he said, slowly moving closer, — if you want me to believe your little fairy tale, you’ve got a chance to prove it. I already told you how.

She froze, closing her eyes for a moment as if gathering her thoughts. Then she snapped them open, glaring at Franklin with such fury that it took his breath away for a second. — I am not going to have sex with you, Franklin! — Her voice rang out like steel. — You don’t get it... This isn’t a game! This isn’t a joke! I don’t know who you spoke to this morning, but I am Brian! As horrible as it sounds, I’m stuck in this body, and I need your damn help, not your dirty thoughts. God, I thought we were friends! — She snorted, stepping back and crossing her arms again. For a moment, Franklin felt a flicker of guilt. But it quickly turned into irritation. This whole show had gone on too long.

— Enough, — he grinned, moving toward her, not taking his eyes off her face, which, to his surprise, was the very picture of desperation. — Let’s do it this way, Brian. If you’re really him, then prove it. But like I said, there’s one way that’ll definitely convince me. — Franklin smirked, feeling in control.

The girl, whose body clearly didn’t match the voice or behavior of its supposed owner, clenched her teeth and took a deep breath. Her hands tightened into fists, but she stood her ground, barely restraining herself from lashing out. — You don’t understand, Franklin, — she said, her voice trembling with barely contained anger. — I don’t know what you saw or who you talked to, but I didn’t choose this — she jabbed a finger at her chest again — I didn’t want this! Damn it, I’m as shocked as you are... This is just… — Her voice broke, but she quickly regained her composure. — This isn’t a joke. If it were, I’d be laughing with you right now, but... I need you to believe me. Because you’re the only one I’ve got.

Franklin snorted, his eyes gleaming with smug satisfaction. He enjoyed watching her get nervous, how her body trembled with emotion. He took a step forward, even closer. — Look, cut the act, sweetheart. You look amazing, that’s a fact, but Brian? Come on! I saw him this morning, — Franklin pointed vaguely to the side, as if that was undeniable proof, — you can’t be him. You’re just some girl trying to pull something.

She froze, her gaze turning icy, but a smile appeared on her face — one full of despair and anger. — Franklin, if you knew what was happening, you wouldn’t be saying these things, — she hissed. — I don’t know what kind of experiment they did on me, but I didn’t choose this — she pointed at her body again — someone did this to me in that lab! When I woke up... I didn’t want this, but someone did this to me!

Franklin paused for a moment, his smug smile fading for a split second. — Cut the crap, — he growled in irritation, abruptly turning 180 degrees and waving her off.

'Is he really leaving?' the girl thought, stunned as she watched Franklin turn as if to walk away. She froze for a moment, astonished, and then something inside her stirred — a mix of desperation and rage. — Oh, hell no! — She lunged forward, her voice strained to the breaking point. — Franklin! You can’t just walk away! — She felt tears welling up but quickly fought them back, refusing to show any weakness. — I don’t know what you saw or heard, but you need to listen to me!

Franklin stopped by the exit, throwing a crooked grin over his shoulder: — Look, babe, cut the comedy. If you really want me to believe you, you know what to do. Otherwise... — He shrugged. — You’re just going to lose the only person who might help you.

She grabbed her hair in frustration, trying not to lose her mind over the situation, feeling her body tremble once again with emotion. 'How can he be this dumb?! And this... vulgar?!?!' she thought in fury but didn’t dare act, watching as Franklin walked farther and farther away.
