Because I'm always writing longgg stories, where the relationship moment doesn't happen for a longgg time, I love writing instant attraction oneshots.  No waiting.  No buildup.  Just *bam*!  Attraction, romance, happily ever after!

This one is rated MATURE because it's a bit spicy.

“I’d like to make a toast.”  Raising her voice over the pounding club music, Weiss lifted the glass in her hand, some of the amber liquid nearly spilling over the edge in her haste, and smiled at the two girls sitting across from her.  “To me, on one of the best days of my life.  Probably the best day, actually, because I don’t see how it could get better than this.  From here on out, nothing but pure, uninterrupted freedom.  Even better - all the money to take advantage of that freedom.”

Chuckling to herself, she drained what was left in her glass while her companions took smaller sips.  “Do either of you want another?” she asked, shaking her empty glass in the air.  “Blake?” she added, glancing at the raven-haired girl before focusing on the blonde whose lap Blake currently occupied.  “Yang?  I’m buying.”

The two girls shared glances before Yang chuckled and took another sip from her glass.  “We’re fine, Weiss,” Blake said, casually running her fingers through Yang’s hair while Yang’s arm remained wrapped around her waist.  “You might want to slow down though.  It’s still pretty early.”

“Don’t worry.”  Weiss waved off Blake’s concern and turned to Yang.  “I’m not that drunk.  Even if I was, I have my own ride home, so you can get back under Blake in no time.”

While Weiss sent a knowing smirk Blake’s way, Yang glanced up at the girl in her lap and laughed.

“Is she always like this?”

“Not at all.  Only after a few drinks -”

“Or on a fantastic day,” Weiss added.  Her throat felt scratchy from shouting, but even that couldn’t dampen her spirits.  Yang, however, chuckled again before looking across the table.

“Let me get this straight.  We’re celebrating your dad going to prison?”

“Absolutely.”  Weiss nodded while Yang leaned back and laughed.  “Now that he’s gone, I can do whatever I want,” Weiss explained, letting her gaze wander across the sea of partiers around them.  “Or whoever I want…” she muttered while taking in the short dresses, mini skirts, and low-cut tops of every other girl there.

“In your state, that shouldn’t be difficult.”

“No kidding,” Yang laughed, beaming at Blake for the dry remark before giving Weiss a curious look.  “Was he really that bad?”

“Yes.  Just look him up.”  Yang considered the offer for several seconds before reaching into her pocket for her phone.  “While you do that...”  Weiss grabbed her glass and stood up, swaying gently before regaining her balance.  “I’ll get a refill.”

“Can’t you hire a personal bartender?” Blake called after her, but she just waved the glass and carefully made her way to the bar.

She made sure to hold the railing while navigating the steps elevating their personal alcove above the main club floor, where the general crowd lingered around or packed the dance floor.  Strobe lights flickered on and off behind the DJ, making the jumping, gyrating mass of bodies look disjointed and almost frantic.  Fortunately, the front half of the club was relatively more mellow with plenty of standing-only tables and oversized loveseats that invited trouble.

Avoiding eye contact with the couples occupying those intimate spaces, Weiss glanced through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows at the front of the building instead.  The sky might be pitch black, but the taxis dropping off passengers and the long line of people waiting to get in contradicted the late hour.

Five bartenders worked behind the bustling bar, expertly dodging around each other while mixing and pouring drinks for the horde of customers.  Weiss set her empty glass on the counter and, as soon as one of the bartenders glanced her way, held up her finger to order another.  He nodded before sweeping the glass away, and she leaned against the bar while waiting for her drink to be returned.

After scanning the tables and seats between her and the private lounges on the other side of the club, where several couples were already passionately kissing and others were quickly heading that direction, Weiss let her gaze wander across the line of people waiting outside.  Plenty of girls in their shortest, most revealing black dresses and sky-high heels.  Plenty of guys in collared shirts and jeans.

Weiss’ gaze slipped right over an eye-catching red jacket before snapping back.  There, near the center of the line, stood one of the most attractive, mouth-watering girls she’d ever seen.  “Here you go,” the bartender said, setting a refilled glass in front of her but only briefly earning her attention.  After grabbing the glass, she hastily looked back outside.

The red jacket and tight, dark jeans showed off an enviable physique.  Short, ruffled brown hair looked so soft and appealing that Weiss’ fingers curled as she imagined weaving her hands through it.  A friendly smile invited conversation, but perfect lips invited much more.

Determined to get a closer view, Weiss pushed away from the bar and made her way across the room.  This time, she walked closer to the glass, carefully placing each foot in front of the other in a deliberately slow pace.

She told herself not to stop when they drew even to each other, but then expressive silver eyes locked onto her - caught her staring, more like.  Rather than shy away from that gorgeous gaze - the cherry on top of an already enticing package - Weiss raised the glass in her hand before bringing it to her lips and taking a sip.

The girl responded with a heart-melting smile featuring a slight, lopsided quirk that fell somewhere between understanding and mutual interest.  Satisfied with that response, Weiss walked past, counted to five, and then over her shoulder.  Catching the girl still watching, Weiss smirked and swayed her hips on her way back to the private balcony.  She stumbled going up the stairs but, as her good luck continued, the girl had turned away by then.

“I can totally see why you’re celebrating,” Yang said when Weiss hurried back to her seat.  “This guy sounds like an asshole.”

“I’m well aware.”

“Wait a second.”  Yang held up a hand while reading something else on her phone, then looked at Weiss with wide eyes.  “You got the whole company now that he’s gone?”  When Weiss nodded, Yang’s brow rose.  “Well damn.  I should’ve ordered a more expensive drink.”

“Order whatever you want,” Weiss said, waving off the small talk and sneaking another look at the girl outside, who’d moved closer to the entrance.  Even though she exchanged words with the people in line around her, it didn’t look like she was with anyone, and alcohol had supplied Weiss with more than enough courage to take advantage of that.

“Blake,” she said, gesturing for Blake’s attention while Yang kept reading.  “The mind-numbingly hot girl in the red jacket,” she added with a nod in the brunette’s direction.  “I’d love to be under her all night...”

Quickly finding the person Weiss was referring to, Blake snapped back around with wide eyes.

“Weiss...”

“Oh, come on, Blake,” Weiss protested.  “You say things like that all the time and I never complain.  Like just yesterday, you were bragging about that incredible orgasm Yang gave you in the shower.”

“That’s not it -”  Blake shook her head, but Yang had already looked up.

“What about an incredible orgasm?” she asked, sending a cheeky grin Blake’s way.  “You enjoyed that, did you?”

While Blake blushed, Weiss rolled her eyes and said, “See?  No need to be a prude.”  The comment earned a withering glare, but Weiss smiled and took another drink.  “At least you’re not a prude,” she told Yang, who chuckled and squeezed Blake’s side.  “So what do you think, Yang - how many drinks to get the brunette out of her jacket?”

Blake covered her face with one hand while Yang asked, “Who?” and turned in the direction Weiss nodded.  After spotting the girl, who’d finally made it to the front of the line, Yang turned around with a less-amused expression.

“That’s my sister.”

“Yeah, right,” Weiss scoffed.  “You look nothing alike.  Besides, would your sister wear something that’s practically begging to be taken off?  God, just looking at her makes me thirsty.”

While Weiss lightly bit the edge of her glass, Yang glanced up at Blake, who shook her head and sipped her drink, before running her tongue along her teeth and forcing a smile.

“We have different moms.”

“I’m sure,” Weiss mused, too distracted by the brunette finally entering the club to pay full attention.  Instead, she watched the girl weave through the maze of tables and loveseats at the entrance, scanning the crowd for someone.  Every step she took brought her closer, and Weiss had just wet her lips to attempt an ill-advised greeting when Yang raised a hand.

To Weiss’ surprise, the wave caught the girl’s attention.  A smile followed, and suddenly, she was making her way over.  When she caught sight of Weiss, she briefly froze, and her brow briefly rose, but she jogged up the steps seconds later.

“Hey guys!” she said, hugging Blake, then giving Yang a one-armed hug, before capturing Weiss in her silver gaze.  “You must be Weiss,” she said while offering her hand.  “I’m Ruby!  It’s nice to finally meet you.”

After glancing at Blake and Yang, who intently watched the introduction, Weiss smiled and shook Ruby’s hand.

“Hi Ruby.  You wouldn’t happen to be Yang’s sister, would you?”

“I am!”

Weiss’ smile instantly disappeared, and her disbelief grew when Yang sent her a vindicated grin.  Weiss’ lack of response, however, made Ruby glance around.  “Am I...not supposed to be?” she eventually asked, and Weiss quickly shook her head.  When she noticed Blake hiding a smile behind her glass though, her confidence returned.

“I get it.  They paid you to say that, didn’t they?”  Ruby started shaking her head, but Weiss looked around her to see Blake and Yang.  “You two are unbelievable.  Paying someone to pretend to be Yang’s sister?”  After tsking the prank, Weiss looked at Ruby.  “What are you - a model?  Actress?”

“Uh...I run track, actually.”

“Just like Yang’s sister,” Weiss said, pretending to be shocked.  “Clever.  I’m impressed.”

“Do you...want to see my ID or something?”

Ruby reached for her wallet, but Weiss shook her head.

“No need.  I’m sure they got you a fake ID too.”  Ruby’s brow furrowed as her hand returned to her side, but Weiss smiled.  “How much did they pay you?  And for what - to see if I’d make a fool of myself?”

“Weiss, she’s really my sister,” Yang interrupted.

“She is,” Blake added when Weiss glanced their way.  “We invited her to celebrate with us.  We thought it’d be nice if you two finally met.”

“If you wanted me to fall for that, you should’ve found someone cute and nerdy.  Because I’m sorry, but you -”  Weiss slowly looked Ruby up and down, skin tingling at what she saw.  “If I found you naked in my bed, I wouldn’t be kicking you out.”

“I did not want to hear that…” Yang muttered while a sly smile slipped onto Ruby’s lips.  “Weiss, honest to god, this is my sister.  My little sister.”

“We’re not messing with you,” Blake added, but Weiss was too enraptured by that sly smile to believe them.

Even more impressive than Ruby - in general, as someone Weiss wanted to know much more intimately - was how well Blake and Yang were playing this.  Weiss would have expected one of them to break character by now, most likely Yang, but they remained insistent even as their fake sister snuck Weiss some not-so-innocent looks.

As entertaining as this was, Weiss wanted to get to the next part already - the part where Blake and Yang fessed up and Weiss could end the night with a bang.  When an idea popped into her slightly foggy mind, she smiled.

“You don’t look like anyone’s ‘little’ sister,” she said while trailing her fingers down Ruby’s arm, dragging Ruby’s gaze down with it.  “You look like someone I’d love to buy a drink, then take home to see if you taste as sweet as you look.”

Weiss added an inviting smile while squeezing Ruby’s elbow, but her certainty faded when Ruby’s gaze flitted to the side.  Jaw clenched, Yang frowned at Weiss’ hand, which rested on Ruby’s arm while Ruby dug out her phone with the other.

“Uh, here’s a picture of me and Yang as kids?” Ruby offered while turning the screen around for Weiss to see.  Weiss glanced at Yang and Blake first, trying to read their mood, before leaning over to see the photograph.  Even though it had been taken some time ago, Yang’s long blonde hair and lilac eyes were almost exactly the same.  As were Ruby’s silver eyes and ruffled brown hair.

Carefully removing her hand from Ruby, Weiss opened her mouth but no words came out.  The pounding bass and loud music should have filled the silence, but it only rattled her bones while Blake, Ruby, and Yang stared at her with expressions ranging from amused to not-at-all amused.

“Very cute,” Weiss finally said before draining her drink and raising her empty glass.  “If you’ll excuse me.”

She walked away before anyone responded.  Three pairs of eyes followed her across the club, but she didn’t turn around while heading straight up to the bar, taking one of the open seats, and setting her glass down.  “I’m going to need about eight more of these,” she told the nearest bartender, who chuckled and took the glass.

While he made her another drink, she tapped her fingers on the counter and made sure not to turn around.  Her cheeks burned, but that could be from the alcohol or too many people packed into the space.  Unfortunately, glimpsing a red jacket as someone claimed the barstool beside her only increased the heat.

“Don’t worry about me,” she said before Ruby spoke.  “I’ll come back once I’m too drunk to be embarrassed.”

“That’s too bad.  I was kind of hoping to get you out of here before then.”

That got Weiss to look over in a hurry.  Finding a playful smile and sparkling silver eyes aimed back at her, she opened her mouth but didn’t say the first thing that came to mind.  Instead, she shook her head and said, “Sorry, but I believe you’re firmly off limits.”

To Weiss’ surprise, Ruby sighed and slouched onto the counter.

“This always happens.  Did Yang say something?”

“She didn’t have to.  She just has a look.”  Weiss furrowed her brow and set her lips in a scowl but, when a smile flickered across Ruby’s lips, gave up and waved.  “It’s effective,” she concluded before nodding to the bartender returning her refilled glass.

“Yang likes to forget that I’m an adult,” Ruby said while Weiss sipped the drink.  “If I meet a girl at a club who I’m like, instantly attracted to, shouldn’t it be my choice if I want to...get to know her better?”

“The ‘do not touch’ sign suggests otherwise.”  Weiss pointed to the air above Ruby’s head, and Ruby glanced up before chuckling.

“Surprised I haven’t woken up with that tattooed on my forehead.”

“Spend a few more minutes with me, and I’m sure that’ll be your future.”

Ruby’s infectious laughter had Weiss smiling in no time, and a warmth that had nothing to do with alcohol spread through her veins.  They were close enough now that their knees brushed under the bartop, but Weiss wanted to feel Ruby pressed against her.  The look Ruby gave her suggested she wasn’t the only one, but Ruby cleared her throat and offered a slightly less seductive smile.

“Yang said you’re celebrating something?”

“Oh.  Right.”  Reminded of the events leading them here, Weiss smiled.  “My father went to prison today.”

“That’s a...good thing?”

“Very good, believe me.  He wouldn’t approve of...any of this.”

Weiss’ gaze slid from the dancers grinding against each other to the heavy flirting and amorous relations being pursued under the haze of alcohol before finally landing on Ruby, who checked all of her boxes but didn’t have the suit-and-tie persona her father demanded.

“Sounds like you should do more things he wouldn’t approve of.”

“You got all the brains in the family, didn’t you?”  While Ruby chuckled, Weiss glanced Yang’s way before leaning closer.  “Out of curiosity…” she began in a lower voice.  “How many drinks to get you out of this jacket?”

Ruby looked down when Weiss fingered the top button on her jacket, then raised her hands and undid it herself.  Her left hand guided Weiss’ down to the next, a slow smile appearing as that one came unfastened too.  Weiss didn’t breathe until the last button was undone and Ruby finally released her hand while shrugging out of the sleeves.  As soon as she glimpsed the toned arms and soft, silky skin hiding underneath, she grabbed her drink and silently cursed the gods of genetics for putting such temptation just out of reach.  Ruby, meanwhile, laid the jacket across her lap and grinned.

“How many drinks until I get some honest answers out of you?”

“Luckily for you, I reached that point about two drinks ago.”

“Then maybe I should ask some questions.”  Beaming now, Ruby leaned so close that Weiss’ breath caught in her throat.  “When you saw me outside…” Ruby began, her words dusting across Weiss’ lips and sending tingles down Weiss’ spine.  “What’d you think?”

Weiss was sober enough to consider ‘nice jacket’ or ‘cute hair’ as appropriate answers.  When a small, innocent slip would send her lips crashing into Ruby’s, however, she said, “I thought...you looked like someone I’d take home with me,” instead.

“Then...you think I’m attractive?”

Weiss opened her mouth but glanced at Yang and Blake before responding.  Blake was doing such an excellent job distracting Yang that Weiss would have to thank her later.  Still sitting in Yang’s lap, she had her hands in Yang’s hair - their lips as close as they could get without actually kissing - and let Yang’s hands roam freely.  Turning away from them, Weiss looked at Ruby’s open, sincere eyes and sighed.

“Yes, I do.”  When Ruby’s grin widened, Weiss held up a finger.  “That doesn’t mean I can sleep with you.”

“But you want to.”

“Ruby, I can’t even say out loud the things I want to do with you.  But yes.  Of course.  I mean, have you seen yourself?”

“I glanced in the mirror before leaving.”  Ruby shrugged and smiled when Weiss laughed.  “How drunk are you?”

“Drunk enough to admit I want to do some incredibly indecent things with you.  Not drunk enough to risk a friend for it.”

“Fair.”  Ruby nodded before glancing across the club and leaning closer, her proximity making it hard for Weiss to breathe.  “But in the interest of complete honesty, I’d be totally down for...that...too.”

Weiss’ skin tingled when Ruby’s gaze slipped to her lips before returning to her eyes.  “Then it’s too bad you are Yang’s sister…” she said, tracing her finger around the edge of her glass while staring at Ruby’s lips.

“Half sister, technically.”

“Oh?  Well, that’s only half as sisterly.”

“Exactly.  So she can only get half as mad.”

After staring at each other for several seconds, they both laughed and leaned away.  Weiss shook her head too, hoping to clear out some inappropriate thoughts and growing desires.

“I’m glad I finally got to meet you though,” Ruby added.  “Blake talks about you a lot, and I know you’ve been hanging out with Yang more often.  I just didn’t expect you to be so…”  Ruby’s gaze roved up and down Weiss’ outfit before a slow smile appeared.  “You know, hot.”

The admission shot straight down Weiss’ spine, and she wrapped her hand tightly around her glass so that she didn’t grab the front of Ruby’s shirt and drag the girl closer.

“If you keep looking at me like that, I’m going to do something stupid.”

“And we wouldn’t want that, would we?”

“Wouldn’t we?” Weiss replied, and Ruby’s smile brightened.

Over Ruby’s shoulder, however, Weiss realized that Blake’s efforts to distract Yang had worn off.  With lilac eyes watching her every move, she cleared her throat and moved a little further away.  “It’s too bad your sister’s dating my best friend.  Otherwise, we’d...”  Letting her gaze rove down Ruby’s shirt, Weiss imagined the possibilities their night could hold.  “Well, you know,” she concluded rather than spell out the dirty details.

“Yeah, it is too bad,” Ruby agreed.  A moment later though, her bright smile returned.  “You know, Yang told me once that we should get together.  I think her exact words were, ‘Weiss is super rich - you should tap that.’”

Weiss scoffed at the typical Yang-ism but smiled when she saw the grin threatening to creep onto Ruby’s lips.  “That sounds like an endorsement,” she said, much to Ruby’s delight.

“Doesn’t it?  Now if only we could remind her...”

While Ruby playfully tapped her chin, Weiss bit her lip to keep from laughing.  “Remind her that I’m rich?” she asked before pausing.  Then she looked at the drink in her hand and said, “I have an idea.”

“A good idea or a ‘good’ idea?”

“Hard to say...” Weiss mused before standing up so fast that she swayed on her heels.  Fortunately, Ruby caught her arm and steadied her before she rolled an ankle, presenting the perfect opportunity to clutch Ruby’s arm and subtly press her chest into Ruby’s side.  When Ruby’s hand started sliding down her back, however, she moved away and smoothed out her dress.

“Meet me by the door?  If this works, we’re going to my place.”

“You’re something else, aren’t you?” Ruby teased.  Her arm brushed across Weiss’ chest when she stepped away, and she winked before heading towards the door.  Weiss, meanwhile, stared at Ruby’s ass before taking a deep breath and returning to Blake and Yang.

If this was truly the best day of her life, one more thing needed to come true before the night ended.  Preferably, it would keep coming true into the early hours of the morning, but she didn’t want to get ahead of herself.  First, she walked up to the private patio and stopped when Blake and Yang looked up at her.

“Yang, I just wanted to let you know that I’m taking your sister home with me.”

“Ha.  Funny, Weiss.  That’s a good one.”  Yang shook her head and reached for her drink, but Weiss didn’t back down.

“She’s made it very clear that’s what she wants, and I feel the same.  But I realize you’re hesitant, so, in exchange for your...understanding...I’ll be leaving my credit card here.”  Weiss reached into her dress, pulled out her credit card, and dropped the thin piece of metal on the table.  “You’ll return it tomorrow morning, but until then it’s yours to use as you wish.”

Yang scoffed but, when Weiss didn’t say anything, lifted her brow.  “You’re serious?” she asked, only to look even more shocked when Weiss nodded.  Then Blake whispered something in her ear, and she snatched the card and pointed it at Weiss.

“You treat her with respect, you hear me?”

“Oh, that won’t be a problem.  I’ll be worshipping her all night.”

Yang wrinkled her nose, but Blake winked as Weiss smiled and walked away.  Ruby waited near the exit, just like Weiss asked her to, and she hardly broke out another heartstopping smile before Weiss dragged her outside.  A line of people still waited to get into the club, and several taxis dropped off or picked up more drunk revelers, but Weiss led Ruby to the black limousine that had waited out front since her arrival.

“After you,” Weiss said, motioning to the car as the driver hopped out and opened the passenger door for them.

“Wow, you are rich.”

“Fairly,” Weiss admitted before telling the driver, “Home, please,” and following Ruby into the passenger cabin.

“I’ve never ridden in a limo before,” Ruby said while Weiss closed the partition between them and the driver’s seat.

“Me neither.”

Ruby’s brow furrowed, but when Weiss straddled her lap and finally ran her fingers through soft brown hair, an understanding smile appeared.  Ruby then wrapped her arms around Weiss’ waist and tilted her chin up, silently inviting Weiss to kiss her.  Considering that was all Weiss wanted to do since seeing Ruby standing in line, she wasted no time capturing Ruby’s lips with hers.  The car lurched into motion moments later, pressing her against Ruby in all the right places as their lips and tongues did the talking.

Feeling Ruby’s hands slid up her legs, dragging her dress further up, she leaned down to kiss Ruby’s neck.  Soft, sensitive skin encouraged her to take a taste, licking and sucking every inch within reach.

“How’d you convince Yang?” Ruby asked, her breathy voice doing nothing to quell Weiss’ desire.

“Gave her my credit card,” Weiss mumbled before lightly biting Ruby’s neck, feeling Ruby’s laughter reverberate under her lips.

“You realize she’ll rack up a huge bill, right?”

“Mhmm…”  When Ruby’s hand slid across her inner thigh, Weiss bit back a moan.  “The mall’s closed anyway,” she added before placing open-mouthed kisses on Ruby’s neck.  “Doubt she can spend much before Blake convinces her to go to a fancy hotel for the night...”

“You’ve heard of online shopping, right?”

Weiss froze, her lips still pressed to Ruby’s neck, before pulling back and staring down into beautiful, amused silver eyes.  Finally grasping - at least, to a certain extent - the situation she’d gotten herself into, she laughed.

“Worth every penny,” she decided before pulling Ruby into another kiss.  Feeling Ruby smile against her lips and Ruby’s hands exploring with more certainty, she grabbed handfuls of soft hair and tugged, earning a rousing hum in response.

If she thought about it hard enough, she might ruminate on how one chapter of her life just ended and another just began, or how she just lost a rotten influence and gained a much sweeter one.  Those deep reflections would have to wait until tomorrow though, because if Ruby was as good with her fingers as she was with her lips...Weiss’ good day would end with an unbelievably great night.
