The play is one of the best recap episodes of all time for an anime imo, usually they're so boring with old scenes, but this one you get to laugh with the characters getting roasted

I laughed so hard during the play episode, especially seeing Toph’s character..…The last episodes are so good and classic, I still go back and watch them and I agree with others that you really need to watch the last 3 episodes together.

ngl other then main characters korra is better, theres more lore way more characters and the villains and animation is way better

Well I mean they had all the ground work there and took ideas from first one and expanded on them as well has all the nostalgia so yeah. Side characters are weaker but I still like them and they all still have a good character arc

you guys HAVE to watch Korra!!!! They go very in depth into the Avatar and it's origins and the spiritual side of being the Avatar! We also get peeks into the Avatar's past lives and we get new bending styles. I think you'd both really enjoy it :D !
