Really frustrating. In the end, all you can do is to "leave it all behind" in your head in order to enjoy your time. I think you are the sort of people who will be able to do that for the sake of your mental health and not wasting the investment you've made in this trip. And in future, always keep some essentials in your carry on! Really hope you manage to get it back or get adequate compensation from the airline.

Have you tried worldtracer.aero to track your lost luggages online? I work at hospitality and guests who arrive with lost luggages usually gets tracked online and delivered to the hotel that they stay in. As long as you have a reference number, i guess that should work. Hope you get them back 🙌🏼 and safe travels!

My worry is that none of those you called have got a hold of your luggage. Usually in the lost luggage report you need to tell the description of color, material, and brand of luggage. Then they’ll tell you that it is in transit somewhere either via text or through an app. So yeah, I’m quite worried that they haven’t found it yet.

happened to both my cousins when they visited us (they live oversees). Thankfully one of them only lost their luggage for te wo days, but the other one lost their luggage for over 3 weeks...

Yeah totally sucks when luggage gets misplaced. Or when it somehow didn't make it onto a connecting flight. But in those cases the airlines usually contact you and fly it over, you just gotta sure you have your luggage tags. I backpacked through Europe for 3 months back in 2007. I've actually had my bag, with my tickets, my passport, my Eurail Pass, my camera, my iPod, straight up stolen in Barcelona, and has an attempted pickpocketing on a city rail in Budapest. I have stories, lol. Y'all will be fine.

Hope you guys get your luggage back soon and Michelle get well soon! The Airlines/Airports losing your luggage can be such an inconvenience especially during a long trip and if you are moving cities and location.

trust me my heart dropped when I had $15k+ worth of GUNS that got lost in transport, luckily the airline shipped it to my door when it was found. Hopefully yall get ahold of it soon!
