I still can't hear that damn song without crying... it's crazy how it gave off a lighthearted young love vibe the first time it played in the series vs how depressing as hell it was when they brought it back for the finale.

Highly recommend the game if you want more story in this universe but fair warning a lot of it can be depressing. Also there's a little side gig where your character can learn about David and Lucy's story and you end up contacting Falco about it and he gives you David's jacket as a reward for keeping their story alive.

Unfortunately the ending is still as rushed as I remember. Not even two, just one more episode would have been perfect to let the narrative breathe a little towards the end. Emotions need breathing room to emerge cleanly and unless you’re trying to go for an anti-emotional approach, I don’t see how it would be beneficial to this show. Everything ends up being kind of a clusterfuck. It does have some positives in a show of this type, but ultimately just 20 more minutes would have been perfection for sure. I’m sure they had their reasons though idk.

the anime takes place like a year or 2 before the game and you can find things in the game in spots from the show like rebecca's shotgun and lmg and davids jacket. so technically season 2 would be you in the game

Rebecca's death really crushed me I legit cried lol her dialogue was hilarious, she had no chill and she was loyal fr. I'd at least thought she was gonna be one of the ones to survive since she made it to the last episode. RIP David that was emotional. It was sad seeing him go down the same path as Maine. Even though Kiwi did some shady shit still RIP to her. Such a dope anime, shit really turned up the second half of the show. This makes me wanna play the Cyberpunk video game now. Also fun fact, Maine's name was dropped back in episode 1. David's mom Gloria said his name in the first scene inside the house. She said "Maine? It's Gloria" time stamp 11:25 episode 1 first reaction if you guys wanna go back and check. And unfortunately Cyberpunk won't have a season 2

Definitely no season 2 but you can visit their memorial in the game, and there is an easter egg side quest that mentioned them, the best part is you will face Adam Smasher, and do what you have to do soldier ;) so please when are yall gonna play? are yall gonna stream it?

For me who played Cyberpunk 2077 this end was especially good. This show actually made me love bad endings and this ending is kinda simular to the games ending so it was even better. Hope u loved the show, it is one of the greatest from the last years

This and arcane are so top tier... Arcane get the art direction award for me but Cyberpunk definitely wins in term of emotions... man it's been like a year and it still hits. With this crazy anime and the game, I kinda love how nothing is going good for anyone. There's no happiness in night city, it's either live quietly or die a sad and cruel death... In the game I got hit hard by a character named Evelynn, sis just wanted to leave the damn city and be happy anywhere else but all she got was a sad reality reminder.... + all the references to the anime in the game is crazy, truly a masterpiece of a game

nah there wont be any season two we already know that. They're gone and that's it, its night city, no happy ending for anyone. In Cyberpunk's sequel (the game) we might have news of Lucy or even see her again but we wont have any season two for them, we already know the issue since this all happens before the game. They planned to release a dlc on the moon but cancelled it due to the backlashes the game received BUT they might keep the concent and inject it in "Cyberpunk 2"

DAVID IS CONFIRMED DEAD AND GONE EVEN IN THE GAME. No season 2. Only chance we ever see lucy again is if we hear about her in the game's sequel, that's it. That's what cyberpunk is about, no happy endings, no happiness, they all die basically, life ain't fair.

Full metal alchemist is probably 9 of my top 10 animes, but it truly is a masterpiece and I would love to rewatch it. A lot of people in the anime community say it’s the best anime of all time at least a few years ago. Rn I’m caught up I personally think one Peice is the best anime of all time but Naruto will always be my #1 favorite

This is the story of David. Its the universe of Cyberpunk, not a guaranteed happy ending and holy hell....this show alone broke me...This show gave me so much love for the game and made me finally play it and fall in love with it.

Just watching the story of David as a young rebellious kid, ending with him being obsessed with chrome and upgrades, really symbolizing the destruction of substance abuse, its soooo sad and he gave his life just for Lucy to live. Play the game, there is a whole side quest about David and the whole crew.

In that bar theres about 30 named drinks and david Martinez was just one of the names of one of the drinks he was one of the many legends so technically they could make hella seasons

i hope y'all will play cyberpunk 2077. The game is crazy and they add some reference from the anime in the game with an special quest easter egg. The anime is so well designed that you can find the exact place you see in the anime, in game. Most of all meeting new character and becoming a legend of NC like David, you get the chance to avenge all of them and the many that were too victim of corpos
