Love Kuroko but to me this game always seems to be one of if not the most driven by plot due to Akashi not doing anything and the total comeback. The random little backstory is always interesting as I didn't read this manga but if there are more in it that is pretty cool. Assume the next sports poll will be between Ippo and Ace of diamond as the top two, though Ippo will probably win.

Akashi is guarded by kagami thats why he is restricted but still managed to pass the ball or even score sometimes agains him as we've seen in this episode

Ron I recommend watching the final minutes of last episode, as to why Akashi is called heartless. He manipulated Mayuzumi by saying he still needs him which for Mayuzumi sounded like his Misdirection and passing skills were needed, only for Mayuzumi to be used a distraction on the court. Sure not everyone is Lebron, but as a role player his role was never to just stand on the court, his role was like Kuroko's
