In Japanese atleats the first name is the last name so In the us it would be “Zoro Roronoa” but it Japanese its “Roronoa Zoro” 🤣

not sure if this has been mentioned but please tell me you’ll skip long ring long land/davy back fight arc, most pointless arc in the story, its just canon filler and poorly adapted (a huge majority of the fandom hates it, once G8 is done, go straight to Water 7 arc: episode 227)🙏😭

^ What he said. In Japan, their family names comes first. Family names are basically like our last names here, so by that logic, every japanese name you hear or see, will always start with their family name. That's why sometimes you have other characters calling them by their family name, reason being that they are talking (formally) instead of straight up calling their first name (informal speech), which is typically used by someone close, or even by being disrespectful. There are a lot of rules when speaking, but this covers most of it.

i cant explain my reasoning without some major spoilers so ill hold my tongue on certain topics. but where we are in the story heading towards yk where… i just dont see foxy or anything coming back in any meaningful way like certain characters do throughout the story. but Oda is crafty as hell so no way i can rule it out completely 😭

They should have skipped G8 filler. While I agree Long ring isn't great in the anime version Canon still takes priority over filler every single time. Wouldn't really mind if they skipped both and got to peak arc earlier, but I'm sure they wont skip actual story

Hey guys, for the long ring long land arc I strongly reccomend switching to one pace because the original anime really drags this little arc out. After that arc you can just switch back to regular one piece.

in japan they spell the family/last name of other people instead of the first name! is a cultural thing which is also an etiquete of a sort! like you only call someone by their first name if you're close to them
