New movie series starting and we are excited because we know these are CLASSICS! Again, dont worry if your vote doesn't win this time because we plan on getting to all of the movies/series in this list! Poll will close in 24 hours.

For some more context: Michelle has not seen any of these movies. I watched Terminator 1, probably 15 years ago now? Its been a while. The rest I have not seen.

(Michelle and I did watch the newest Star Wars movie though. The one with Rey. but we both have not seen the originals LOL)

Star Wars 1-6 are amazing and 4-6 is considered one of the best Trilogies ever only rivaled by LoTR and Batman beings. Truly goated. Highly suggest watching them in order of release. So episodes 4-6 then episodes 1-3. Most Star Wars fans watched them this way and watching the older ones first gives you way more lore, insight and appreciation when going into 1-3.

The difference from what I kno .. and I’m not the biggest fan of Star Wars so I could be wrong but the originals came out in like the the 70s … the “Episode” movies were done in the 99 and 2000s when I was a kid to current time .. apparently some of the recent movies preceed or take place before the OG 70s movies .. 🤷🏾‍♂️ so may have to possibly look up the order in which they should be watched if this option is chosen …. It’s the same thing with the Alien movies as well .. some of the newer movies take place before the OG movies so the timeline is tricky

In terms of storytelling I’d say you have to go in chronological to see how it all started but obviously 4,5,6 are older looking lol

With Star Wars you definitely gotta watch the series ( I know Star Wars got a weird timeline - The series takes place between Movie Episode 2 & 3) It's an amazing series if y'all consider it

I recommend you not watch the movies in chronological order - The reason the release order works is because Episodes 1,2, The series, and 3 become really informative - Also between Episodes 2 & 3 there's a time jump which is why you need the Series which takes place in-between (It's really confusing and people do hate it - The series fixes all the problems)

Came here to recommend the lord of the rings series if you all haven’t seen it. I watch a lot of react content and that is one I actively seek out because it’s such a fun experience! Star Wars and these other options are also great.

Ron I saw your confusion let me explain so The original Star Wars trilogy is 3-6 it was aired in the 70s-80s. So 3-6 is a lot older than 1-3. People were asking are you going to watch the older ones first (by release date) or in chronological order (meaning 1 then 2 then 3, ect).

I will never accept anything in the disney era as cannon personally. Hell they cant even accept it. The first scene in the third movie was to show the ending scene in the second movie Couldn't happen with warp speed.

Throwing my hat on the ring. No one is going to be mad if you choose the release Order (aka OG Trilogy then Prequels then Sequels) Some people are going to be mad if you choose the intended chronological order (per George Lukas), aka Prequels then OG then Sequels. For my star wars nerds I personally like the flashback order. Start with R1 then Ep4, Ep5, then flashback to Eps 1,2,3 and end with Ep6.

Alien could be replaced, only the first one was any good in my opinion. I'd vote to replace it with comedy like the Rush Hour series, or maybe even something animated, like the Toy Story series? Unless you are only going for sci-fi movies

star wars, the first 6 are where it's at though. for ordering it might be better to watch 4/5/6 first even outside of just doing it for the graphic change and it being easier to start on the thing that looks less nice

Ep 2&3 are just 🙌🏾🤌🏾 🫨 The order I watched: 1,2,3, Han Solo movie, Rogue One movie, 4,5,6, ….and unfortunately 7,8,9 🤮 🙄 🤦🏾‍♀️ (Jurassic Park is still my fav of the two franchises 🤭)
