oh wow they really deviated from the manga huh. Mine's character was so much better in the manga.

Fun fact in the manga Mine didn't die.. the anime had to change some stuff like skipping an entire arc because the manga wasn't finished yet. Up until Chelsea's death it was pretty faithful to the manga

i cried so bad when i binged this show, it hits different binging since you don't get a break from all the deaths from chelsea's death especially, the deaths of this show break you when binging

yeah Lubb's death was also way different in the manga. They did him dirty in the anime. You guys should definitely check out the manga after you finish the show

Not even gonna lie, I love fairy tail for nostalgia reasons but that would just not resonate for them after watching anime with deeper themes and plot.

lol Dude his manga death is horrible as they did him way dirty they torchered him. Anime gave him a much more easy to watch death.

Let's just say it's a difference in opinion. To me his death in the manga had a bigger impact. Even though he was brutally tortured he held firm in his beliefs and even found a way to outsmart Shura and killed him. Even at the end he knew hi had no chance at winning he still held strong. For me it showed his willpower and loyalty. In the end he died for his friends and loved ones
