I don't think you're necessarily wrong Ron, I just think it's a viewpoint coming from a place of pride, and not understanding Nozel's perspective. I don't think Noelle was soft either, what Nozel said was acknowledging her. He called her royalty and said her duty is to the capitol first. He said Asta and Yuno's duty was to the capitol first as well, as magic knights,, but as that was their hometown they can go and fight and join back up as soon as their done, as a captain, he gets to call the shots, and he granted them that freedom. He has been making subtle changes to his character and personality and him acknowledging Noelle like he did was huge for her, and he was saying she needs to go where she is needed, and she agreed. It's because she's royalty, it's not like he was asking her a favor when he needs something from her, so I think the is the I would disagree with your take on the situation. Nozel's motive and intention wasn't one of I have been shitting on you forever and now when I need something from you I'm going to ask, it was I have been observing how you have grown and have proved yourself and you do indeed belong in this family, now w are going to do our duty, let's go. If that makes sense.

Nah, I never felt that way about that moment for Noelle even before I knew anything. Because it's what Noelle wants. I totally get what you're saying but that's just not a Noelle thing, it's a Ron thing😆 (no catharsis from revenge for you, sir!). Also, this is a life & death situation, Asta & Yuno are strong enough to defend their village and quickly head to the royal capital. Noelle will defend the royal capital since that's her hometown and her strength is needed. People could be dying, Ron! 😂

youre forgetting the magic knights function like a military. as a captain, Nozel outranks all of them and has to give them commands. If Mereoleona was awake, shed be in charge as she was made the leader of the royal knights. Noelle is just following rank, and so did Asta and Yuno since Nozel allowed them to go.

lol to me I felt like it’s only one enemy in hage so asta and yuno are enough they don’t need Noelle she’s better off going with nozel. It really would have been an unnecessary pride thing. Their magic knights there is no reason for her to do that when people’s lives are on the line

I get where Ron is coming from but Noelle has been wanting to get acknowledgement from her eldest brother since young and she finally sort of got the acknowledgement she wanted by him just saying that she should fight alongside him at the capital since she is royalty. And Asta and Yuno probably won't need her help anyway since it probably won't be anyone strong and some small fry. They can see the enemy main force that is the strongest and greater threat heading towards the capital and that's their priority as Magic Knights to stop them before there are more casualties.

So, I disagree with you Ron 😂 Noelle is still a Magic Knight and her feelings and pride have no place in this situation. And Nozel didn't tell her to go with him because he wanted something from her, like a favor or something. Nozel is a captain, he has the authority in this situation. And if he gives Noelle the order to accompany him to protect the kingdom, then she has to obey the order, she can't just do whatever she wants. Asta and Yuno were now only allowed to rush to their village to help because Nozel agreed to it and he also gave them the order that if they saved Hage, they should follow immediately. Nozel has the most experience and can therefore best assess the situation. He probably realized that Asta and Yuno didn't need Noelle to save their village. I mean, he saw for himself how strong they both are. And in the previous episodes where Nozel and Noelle were seen together, you could see that Nozel always watched Noelle and slowly started to accept her and regret his behavior towards her. Also, I think Nozel's behavior towards Noelle was never as bad as that of her other two siblings, Nebra and Solid. Nozel just distanced himself from her, both physically and verbally. But Nebra and Solid insulted her in the worst possible way and treated her like trash. Nozel never insulted her, he was just very harsh and cold to her. And I'm not saying that I agree with Nozel's previous behavior towards Noelle. I just want to say that his behavior towards her seems to have a completely different reason than that of her other two siblings. And when he told her that she was royalty and should accompany him to protect the kingdom, he basically meant that he had accepted her. As a magical knight, royalty and sister. And that's exactly what Noelle ever wanted

That's not exactly 'acknowledgement'. He ordered her to fight, as a Magic Knight captain. And the Magic Knights are like soldiers, if there's war you just don't decide if you want to fight, or in what squad you want to do it. It's a duty, and it can be taken this way here aswell. He didn't say "come with me, i'll need your help" or "your help will be useful to me". In current situation every Magic Knight on duty is valueable, and someone like Nozel who is a high-standing MK wouldn't say anything like "you can stay with them, you're useless anyway". And yes, i agree with the fact she would love some acknowledgement from him. She didn't get it.

I feel like to Noelle it was a form of acknowledgement. Some things does not need to be said out loud. Nozel said she is a Royalty and ordered her to go with him to protect the castle. For Noelle, Nozel has always said things that disregard her existence and that she shouldn't be Magic Knight. That sentence Nozel said to her was so important to her like how a younger sibling is happy to receive praise from their elder sibling they look up to. Of course later we know the truth.

Lol everyone else already explained it but Ron basically wanted her to disobey an order from a Captain, just to be petty lmfao. Not even talking about her wanting acknowledgment or anything but he outranks everyone there aside from Mereoleona. Asta and Yuno went because he told them they could (they probably would’ve went anyways but still). Even knowing what happens in the series later on, I’ve never felt that way about that situation.

A lot of people bashing Ron's take but his feelings are justified. I get where you're coming from Ron, a lot of times the main characters will go against the grain if it means protecting their friends & loved ones. Noelle would've been doing an extension of that. It could've went either way so don't let people's opinions bother you. Maybe it could be seen as petty, but it could also be seen as wanting to help your friends. You would be a good teammate. It was for the best though that Noelle goes to the capital. Potentially losing and Asta & Yuno is already a big enough blow to their force.

I think when I first watched it I got the gist that he didn’t “need” her, he actually does want to watch over her and keep her close. Upon second watch I can see where Ron is coming from too, but I can also see it as Noelle thinking “oh, he actually wants us to fight together for the kingdom,” and obv she wanted this too so I don’t think she thought that deep about it.
