Freeguild Assassin (Patreon)
Content
In this week’s tutorial, we take a step back to the Cities of Sigmar with the new Freeguilds Assassin miniature. Now unlike some previous projects like Morvenn Vahl and working from reference and using Photoshop to get our palette. This process is much more of a free-flowing, sketching, and working through to exercise our creative intuition. Showing a workflow that I present to follow a looser style of painting and steadily refining, along with insight into what is driving my creative decisions. This leads to a new lighting scheme of utilizing and positioning Rim Lighting with this first part building the blocks of the main light before we dive into Part 2 which covers the remainder of the lighting effect.
Coming next week is a Teeny Tiny Surprise which I can't show until the weekend so stay tuned! This one is going to be a lot of fun and a fun step into some world-building in the future!
