I am officially back from my vacation to Japan and what a trip it was. So much to see, take in, eat, drink and experience. A real trip of a lifetime and creatively an experience that’s stretched my imagination further with an itch to return to the brush with new ideas to share. Of course it will come when this Jet Lag finally washes away and I can get back to being predictably functional lol. While I was away I tried my best to update my stories, but that fell to the wayside as exhaustion from each day set me to just washing up and beaching myself on the bed to pass out beside my love Terra each night. I’ll be dabbing images from my travels through updates and related to tutorial material in time or more through my personal IG @turntosideb

Speaking of Patreon content, thank you all for staying with me while I was on Vacation. It truly means a lot to me the way you all in the community have stayed, being active on discord and continuing to share ideas while I was away. New content for Feb and moving into March will be a return to the Troggoth Troll to adding coloured reflections of the skin and the Stone Arch mounted on his back with OSL. A start to a new Fundamentals Series into Heavy Metals and weathering advanced! All the Gundam and Machine Kreiger models have awoken my scale modelling techniques and remixing them with my current style of painting. For those who wanted to see my take on Grim Dark, well this ones for you! I can’t say what miniatures you will see with these techniques, but I promise they are hella awesome 😉.

Last and certainly not least I still have the Chinese New Years Painting Competition open with entries until the end of the month. Check the Discord Channel labelled for full details and upload your entries there!
