This is a great episode, and like you said, they've really found their footing at this point. As good as this one is, I really love the next three episodes. They form a kind of three-parter, and have some of the most memorable moments of the season for me.

Cosmic Slice

I just love watching this show with you both. This season is going to keep building and I can't wait to see your reactions to what's coming (and who's coming).

Youtalkingtome

Who's coming is a very exciting prospect, this season rocks so far. I look forward to the future!

This IS a great episode - and as you see below - it is voted on IMDB as the #102 best episode of the show. Quality stuff you're watching here :) Originally airing on November 24, 2004, 'The Dover Test' is Episode 6 of Season 6 of The West Wing. It is the 117th episode overall and has an IMDB rating of 7.6, placing it as the #18 ranked episode of this season and #102 out of all the episodes shown so far.

Weird Magic

BTW - raise your hand if you thought someone from the Star Wars universe would be on the West Wing :)

I had warned you about the light spoilers from thumbnails. Looks like those have all passed and they're pretty standard now. Personally, I think the idea of avoiding the intro credits is kind of silly. They were designed to be part of the show.

Jim Miller

Max just added West Wing to their "Leaving soon" list.

Youtalkingtome

We might get tired of ignoring the opening credits. However, we do talk a lot and during the credits is a good time for it.

I dont have the foggiest. Conjecture seems to be that it might be going to Peacock since it was an NBC show when it aired.

I absolutely love the trajectory of the show & where it's heading. Those that say it fell off after Sorkin's departure are misguided, in my opinion. Sure, it's a bit of a different vibe, but the heart of the show never waivers.
