just catching up now - loving your reactions. don't believe for a second that Rebecca is better - that's not how this show works :D if it was, it wouldn't be as impactful as it ultimately is ^^

You're going to flip flop a lot if you let whether you like a character depend on their actions in a particular scene/episode. Most of the main characters make terrible, terrible choices... as well as wonderfully kind and generous ones. It's one of the things that I like most about the show. I'm so intrigued by the scene where Josh says he's a good person, because there's a lot underneath that. Part of it is a kneejerk reaction to his guilt, but it's more than that. It's also about the conflict between his sense of self ("I'm a positive person who doesn't like hurting people") and his choices ("I was selfish and hurt someone I love"), and the burden of reconciling those things ("If what I did really was as bad as I feel it was, then I'm not who I thought I was, and if I'm not who I thought I was...who am I?").

Yes, Josh's conundrum is unique. He usually is the happy go lucky positive guy but he's acting completely innocent and it's driving us crazy! We don't dislike any of the characters really but we are having a hard time with what they are doing and how they are acting.
