Up the proper, proper literature.

This is an insanely obnoxious comment for me to leave but I literally joined the Patreon specifically because I needed to offer some book recommendations like an absolute nerd. Some proper literature for Jack: —Roberto Bolaño "2666" —Clarice Lispector "The Passion According to G.H." —Olga Ravn "The Employees" —Hari Kunzru "Red Pill" —Samuel R. Delany "Dhalgren" —Blake Butler "Alice Knott" —Vanessa Onwuemezi "Dark Neighbourhood" (short story collectioni) —Gabriel Garcia Marquez "One Hundred Years of Solitude" (I know you don't want magic, but this is proof that magic and literature can go hand in hand) And for Sam, because I cannot stand by while someone reads Gulag Archipelago (it's bad and historically inaccurate and Solzhenitsyn was a fascist), without suggesting an actual good critical Soviet History book that discusses the gulags, historian Domenico Losurdo's "Stalin: History and Critique of a Black Legend" (which a friend of mine was the translator of) was just published in english for the first time last year.

I'm a big reader, especially of fantasy/sci-fi stuff, I'm currently reading JRR Tolkien's Return of the Shadow.

Jack should jump on the bandwagon and read Alasdair Gray books. Or Iain Banks (the M middle initial is his Scifi) My Job is done

Drinking and social media is so passé. Up the literature.
