This is why Kit Fisto is my favorite Jedi. “A Second Look Usually Pays Off” is a lesson I live by.

I totally think Jar Jar has the force and just can’t consciously use it. Everything just works out for him.

I named my cat Ventress because of the second episode of this arc. Such a great character.

I think you are completely right about Jar Jar being in tune with the force, I've thought the same thing for a long time. He just experiences way more luck than almost everyone else in this universe in a way that very much looks like the will of the force.

Matthew Cronin

There’s a character in the Legends continuity names Zayne Carrick who has some kind of “Force Luck” ability where he always makes things go as wrong as they could, like falling into traps and crashing ships and getting caught, but they always ended up working out. And they acknowledge this as his own power at work. I think Jar Jar has the same thing going on.

Angarl

Yeah that's who I always compare with Jar Jar as well, I love Zayne's story so much.

Lair of Grievous is such a sneaky good episode, isn’t it? Clone Wars (honestly, everything to come in Star Wars) is so good at making you change perspective and consider all angles and sides to a story. Glad to be here, glad to be encouraged, glad to be challenged.

Rita Hunter

Very thoughtful discussion after the episodes. Don’t worry that you’re carrying on the talk for too long, because you both brought up so many great points and made some excellent correlations. I enjoyed listening!

Fun fact: Cloak of Darkness was written by Paul Dini, who also wrote for Batman The Animated Series.
